Hello Beautiful Soul!
Embracing the disowned self can feel like inner “self destruction,” where old ego-structures die, allowing a more authentic and loving self to emerge. This is spiritual the task we are being given in April; to take the shadow work and fear we unearthed in March and rise like a phoenix to rebirth our sovereignty, and sense of purpose. This is not always an easy process, especially as it involves the mind and body potentially being retriggered by old trauma and pain.
Embracing the disowned self is the process of reclaiming suppressed, denied, or judged parts of our personality, emotions, and history. Reclaiming our sovereignty through this process involves moving from a state of internal fragmentation and external compliance to an integrated, authentic state of being, the True Self, where we hold authority over our own energy and choices.
The Mystic Archetype begins the reclamation by descending into our inner landscape to encounter the disowned self—those exiled fragments of shadow, shame, or suppressed power that are up for healing. Rather than judging these parts, the Mystic uses the tools of radical presence, resolute faith and deep intuition to witness them as sacred messengers.
As these fragments are integrated, the Sovereign Archetype rises to establish a new internal order and receptively gathers creative power. No longer ruled by unconscious triggers or the need for external validation, the Sovereign takes the throne of the True Self, reclaiming the life force that was previously spent on suppression.
The union of the Sovereign and Mystic in the second chakra creates a life of authentic power and spiritual autonomy. The Mystic provides the depth to understand the soul’s hidden dimensions in relationship to the Higher Self, while the Sovereign provides the structure to manifest that truth in the 3D material world.
Together, these two archetypes reclaim our sovereignty by ensuring that every part of our being—both light and dark—is aligned with our highest purpose. This integration ends the war-like tension within, allowing us to walk through the world not as a fragmented and wounded ego, but as an undivided and truly free being, rooted in Oneness.
More about these two archetypes, why spiritual sovereignty is important now, and how to support integration of this month’s energies in my video!
In service and divine liberation,
Samantha
