Trump Warns 31 House Democrats Who Represent Districts He Won

moving forward with the truth eraoflightdotcomPresident Donald Trump on Saturday passed along a warning against impeachment to the dozens of House Democrats who represent districts that he won in 2016. The 31 members of Congress “will have to answer to their constituents come 2020. If you look at the facts, there’s no crime, there’s no witness, there’s no evidence, there’s no victim, President Zelensky said there was absolutely no pressure. I don’t know of any crime that was committed where the actual victim wasn’t aware of it….and, they got the call, they got the meeting, and they got the money,” Trump said on Twitter on Dec. 14, quoting Jason Meister, an advisory board member of Donald J. Trump for President.

Meister accused Democrats of weaponizing the impeachment process and trampling on the Constitution.

“The American people are going to speak up and speak out about this. I think this guarantees Trump’s reelection in 2020,” he said.

Trump, who has been especially active on his favorite social media platform this week, also shared a missive from his son Donald Trump Jr. targeting the 31 House Democrats.

“Enough! These Democrats in Trump districts said they were with @realDonaldTrump. They lied! – Now now its time to hear from OUR MOVEMENT,” Trump Jr. wrote.

The businessman shared the phone numbers and Twitter handles of each of the House Democrats, urging people to “call non-stop” and “tweet at them.”

None of the House Democrats have committed to not voting for Trump’s impeachment, though two voted against the impeachment process resolution—Reps. Jeff Van Drew (D-N.J.) and Collin Peterson (D-Minn.).

Van Drew, though, said last week that barring new information he will vote against the articles of impeachment.

Other Democrats holding districts that Trump won said this week they’ll vote for the articles. They include Rep. Conor Lamb (D-Pa.) and Rep. Susie Lee (D-Nev.).

House Democrat leaders have said they expect some Democrats to vote against the articles and that they won’t pressure members to vote for the articles.

The House Judiciary Committee voted on Friday to advance the articles of impeachment, which accuse Trump of abusing his office and obstructing Congress, to the full House, where a vote is expected next week.

Trump also wrote on Twitter on Saturday: “After watching the disgraceful way that a wonderful man, @BrettKavanaugh, was treated by the Democrats, and now seeing first hand how these same Radical Left, Do Nothing Dems are treating the whole Impeachment Hoax, I understand why so many Dems are voting Republican!”
