Light is life. Light is the vehicle through which free-energy generation occurs in the human body. Some say it is physiologically impossible… but others know through their experiences.
Did you know that over the last 100 years, scientists have found that mammalian brains are capable of producing light?
Specifically, this light is known as biophotons and was coined by Fritz-Albert Popp, Ph.D. and the gentleman quoted atop this article.
A recent study shows how rat brains can pass one biophoton per neuron, per minute, while human brains can pass billions of biophotons per neuron, per second.

So what is this light then? What does it consist of?
Light is information.
This light, or biophotonic energy, is highly coherent.
Think of a laser light coherence, but magnitudes more organized and coherent.
“When Fritz-Popp was asked exactly how biophotons are able to communicate with our cells he stated that our biological system has a much higher level of coherence than we would imagine. The very best lasers have about a tenth of a second of coherence, but the human biological form has a coherence level of days or even weeks.“
Through biophotons, which are light itself, information is transmitted through the electrically active nervous system and is stored within the DNA.
The DNA then tells the cells which actions to carry out.
So how can we utilize this information and apply it in our own day to day lives?
The consumption of chloroplasts is one solution.
Ascent Nutrition’s Peak Liver Detox contains specially extracted chloroplasts from organically grown spinach leaves.
These chloroplasts directly absorb red and blue light from the Sun and deflects green light. The chloroplasts are converting those wavelengths of light into chemical, physical substances.
This process is known as photosynthesis and it is a real example of “free-energy” generation. It is the process through which things come into form in this physical world.
This process utilizes energy and transforms it into a physical substance.
It is nature’s alchemy through quantum holofractographics.
These chloroplasts are abundant in biophotons and can help supply our bodies with this coherent, organized light.
Recall what was discussed above about humans’ brains being able to process billions of biophotons per neuron, per second.
Also, biophotons have been shown to shift human’s brainwaves into the alpha frequency state, which ranges from 8-12 Hertz (Hz).
This helps us stay focused and alert, while also supporting a sharp recall, memory and overall cognitive state.
Additionally impressive in Ascent Nutrition’s chloroplast extract is the fact that it contains NAC (N-acetyl-cysteine).

NAC has been making recent headlines due to the fact that it is being bought up as people understand how important NAC is for detoxification, immune and brain health.
Specifically, NAC is an amino acid that is a major constituent within the master free-radical scavenger known as glutathione.
What makes this chloroplast extract expansively unique is the fact that it not only contains NAC, a major building block for glutathione, but it contains every building block needed to help replenish the body’s own natural glutathione pathway.
This includes the compounds glutathione peroxidase and reductase, lipoic acid, superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase, N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH).
In other words, this is an enzyme-fueled, free radical scavenging powerhouse that is exponentially greater due to the presence of the complete glutathione pathway of free-radical scavenger regeneration. It regenerates the free-radical scavengers!
This provides a host of benefits for detoxification, healthy aging and optimizing the body’s processes through cellular restoration and optimization.
Ascent Nutrition’s Peak Liver Detox product contains this amazing chloroplast extract, along with dandelion leaf extract, milk thistle seed extract, artichoke leaf extract and two additional enzymes known as Lipase and Protease SP.
Continuing with the theme of light, information transfer and electricity, a fundamental question that can be asked is how this light travels throughout the body. How does it get from one place to another?
The answer is the greatest hologram known, as some would say: the human brain and nervous system.

A team of researchers wanted to test the belief that light/biophotons could be conducted across myelinated axons and found that this phenomenon can and does actually occur.
In laymen’s terms, this means that the nervous system is the rail system upon which this light/biophonic energy can be transferred.
So how then do we optimize our nervous system so that not only does the light transferring become optimized, but also so that we can help support a healthy stress response, brain health, cognitive health and more?
Neurogenesis.
Neurogenesis is the process by which neurons are repaired as well as how new neurons entirely are created. It is a complex process, but one that we each have the ability to influence with foods, herbs, mushrooms, exercises and thoughts.

As can be seen, the process of neurogenesis is dependent upon low stress, novel activity, enrichment and resting stages. This is why resting and sleep are so important, as they help to “cement” in the wiring of the dendrites and synapses of neurons.
And when we are wiring in new connections, we want to make sure our self-talk, outlook and view of ourselves is as healthy and strong as can be.
One substance that helps us in supporting our nervous system and brain in powerful ways is Lion’s Mane mushroom.
The Doctrine of Signatures tells us that plants and foods are designed to appear in a way that shows us what the food is beneficial for. The Lion’s Mane mushroom has many string-like connections, which you can see. This is similar to what the neuronal connections and the myelin sheath look like in our brain.
According to ancient documented history, this mushroom was reserved only for royalty, because of its exquisite sea-food like taste and the potent neurological and immunological benefits it offers. which span across the entire nervous system.
Lion’s Mane mushroom contains two incredibly unique compounds called hericenones and erinacines.
These compounds have the phenomenal ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and help to stimulate the normal production of a protein called Nerve Growth Factor (NGF).
Nerve Growth Factor is a neuropeptide that is responsible for promoting healthy neuronal communication, neuron structure and overall health of the brain and nervous system.

This means that Lion’s Mane mushroom is a strong ally in supporting healthy memory, focus, recall, clarity, attention and creativity.
This also means it strengthens the nervous system and the monks throughout the East have used Lion’s Mane abundantly to help aid focus, meditative practices, alertness and strength. In the East, Lion’s Mane mushroom is said to create “nerves of steel and the memory of a lion.”
Not only does Lion’s Mane mushroom benefit us in these tremendous ways, we humans share 50% of our DNA in common with mushrooms, which is more than even plants! This makes certain mushrooms like Lion’s Mane beneficial for immune and gut health as well. I discuss this DNA aspect more in-depth in my previous article, Mushrooms, DNA, Stress, Neurogenesis and The New You.

Ascent Nutrition offers our Majestic Mushroom product, which contains Lion’s Mane mushroom, Reishi mushroom, Chaga mushroom, Shiitake mushroom and Maitake mushroom all in one product, which can be seen here.
Wrapping all of this together nicely, we can see how biophotons, or light, can positively affect the human brain and nervous system for overall performance and function.
These biophotons are abundantly present in our chloroplast extract, found within our Peak Liver Detox formula. This also contains NAC and ALL of the constituents needed to supply the entire glutathione detoxification pathway.
This light is conducted through a healthy nervous system, and our nervous system can be supported immensely with Lion’s Mane mushroom and other mushrooms like Reishi, Chaga, and Maitake.
This is done through the help of Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) and NGF production is supported by Lion’s Mane mushroom.
In other words, we can optimize our nervous system with the help of Lion’s Mane mushroom and the biophotonic light from a chloroplast extract can be conducted more efficiently and optimally. They synergize each other and help each other to work more effectively.
