Being of service to others is divine love in action. In the community, in friendships, in the family. There is no need to keep score as to what and how much you do. Simply pay attention to how you feel. When the feeling of unappreciation starts to always be present, or that you’re continuously being taken advantage of, perhaps your purpose has been fulfilled, and it is time to offer that love elsewhere, as your current surroundings no longer need it based on their attitude and actions. ~Kejraj

When I feel dissatisfied or angry about something, there are times when people who have nothing to do with it take an uncomfortable attitude.
At such a time , I think it’s an opportunity to look back on what the vibration was like from my emotions until just before.
When I’m feeling good , I often get positive reactions and attitudes from other people.
As a feedback of the vibration I emitted, I can look back.
Knowing as knowledge is different from knowing that it is a true feeling from experience.
I think it’s human to have a desire to know.

I think the scenario you presented here can be taken a step further.
We receive reflections of the waves we emitted, from the outside world.
Face your emotions and then see what kind of vibration you were emitting.
Did you have an ego desire to be appreciated or praised?
In that case, the other person and those around you in your world will respond in a manner consistent with that ego-like vibration.
Genuine service often will be returned more gratitude and consideration than one could have expected.
In other words, you are receiving the vibrations that you put out.
This is a good example of how everything can be traced back to the vibrations within yourself.
Of course, finding and choosing a new place to serve is a positive thing.
And if you do the above self-exploration, you will be quicker to recognize and deal with the same situation when you encounter it.
