President-elect Donald Trump has made a flurry of new appointments to his administration at the end of this week, and for now I want to focus on two of them for this edition of SWAMP WATCH:
The New Treasury Secretary is Billionaire gay man Scott Bessent, and the New Surgeon General is Fox News TV doctor Janette Nesheiwat, a champion of the Trump COVID-19 shots who stated during COVID that “vaccine hesitancy” to the Trump COVID-19 shots was a “global threat” to distribute more COVID-19 vaccines.
The Billionaire Wall Street Fund Manager Scott Bessent is getting praises from Wall Street and even the Corporate Media as the new Treasury Secretary.
The LGBTQ+ community is also praising this appointment as the “first out member of the LGBTQ+ community to be Treasury secretary and one of only a few to ever hold a Cabinet or Cabinet-level position.”
Trump nominates investment manager Scott Bessent, a gay man, as Treasury secretary
Donald Trump has nominated Scott Bessent, a billionaire investment manager who is gay, as secretary of the Treasury.
Bessent, if confirmed by the U.S. Senate, would be the first out member of the LGBTQ+ community to be Treasury secretary and one of only a few to ever hold a Cabinet or Cabinet-level position.
Bessent, 62, is the founder of Key Square Capital Management, a hedge fund. His background may upset some of the MAGA crowd, however.
From 2011 to 2015, before starting Key Square, he was chief investment officer at Soros Fund Management, a hedge fund founded by George Soros, and Bessent had worked for Soros’s firm at various times since 1991.
Soros is a major donor to Democrats and a bête noire of the far right.
But “Trump liked [Bessent’s] billionaire bona fides and the fact that he converted to the MAGA movement after working for Soros,” CNN reports.
Bessent donated to Trump’s presidential campaign and advised him on economic policy. He has contributed to some other Republican politicians and is a longtime friend of Vice President-elect JD Vance, but he also has donated to Democrats, including Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama. He hosted a fundraising event for Gore’s presidential campaign in 2000. (Full article.)
Bessent had been the favorite for this position in Trump’s new administration since the election, but Elon Musk and Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., lobbied strongly against him.
The Wall Street Journal had a good piece today reporting on this infighting in the MAGA camp.
How Scott Bessent Won the ‘Knife Fight’ to be Trump’s Treasury Secretary
It was Scott Bessent’s job to lose—and he almost did.
But after two weeks of uncertainty, Donald Trump selected Bessent, a longtime investor, as his next Treasury secretary. The pick capped a drawn-out, behind-the-scenes game of thrones marked by suspicion, personal animus and last-minute U-turns.
Bessent was the odds-on favorite to land the coveted cabinet post in a second Trump administration—long before the former president won the election. Trump called the Key Square Capital Management founder “one of the most brilliant men on Wall Street” and praised him in private conversations with friends and advisers.
All the while, Bessent and his allies executed a public-relations campaign aimed at cementing his front-runner status, booking him on cable news shows that Trump is known to watch and placing op-eds in the media outlets he follows closely. Bessent was at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s private club in Florida, for hours in the buildup to Trump officially releasing the decision.
Trump told friends shortly before the Bessent announcement that he trusted him to execute the administration’s policies more than any of the other contenders.
Trump’s advisers also said that the president-elect, who is known to take appearance into account when hiring, felt that the gray-haired, bespectacled Bessent looked the part.
But Bessent’s glide path was upended by an 11th-hour play for the job by Cantor Fitzgerald Chief Executive Howard Lutnick, which culminated in Elon Musk signaling to his 200 million social media followers that he backed Lutnick and viewed Bessent as a “business-as-usual choice.”
Bessent’s opponents regularly reminded Trump that Bessent worked for years at an investment firm run by George Soros, a frequent boogeyman of conservatives.
They also circulated to Trump’s advisers returns from Key Square, the investment firm Bessent founded, that they argued showed years of unremarkable performance, hoping to raise questions about his finance bona fides, according to people familiar with the matter.
But the data was truncated to leave out years in which Key Square outperformed and excluded a successful business he spun out, Bessent’s allies said.
Last weekend, the infighting between the two businessmen became so bitter and public—Musk and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. both weighed in on social media—that Trump felt he had to consider other candidates. (Full article.)
I think it is easy to conclude from this that Musk and RFK, Jr. are not exactly in “Trump’s inner circle.”
In the end, Trump went with the Wall Street Billionaire’s Club, which could spell trouble for Big Tech, and their huge bubble in Bitcoin and Tech stocks that have soared since Trump’s election.
Trump seems to have deliberately waited until Wall Street closed on Friday afternoon to announce Bessent as the Treasury Secretary, so it will be interesting to see what will happen on Monday in the financial markets.
Meanwhile, apparently Musk has finally gone home and is no longer hanging around Mar-a-Lago anymore, and it was reported yesterday that he just became the “The No. 1 ‘Diablo 4’ Player In The World“.
As I reported earlier in the week, he had dropped all the way down to #43 in the demon online game while following Trump around.
Also announced yesterday was Trump’s choice to be the Top Doctor in the U.S., the “Surgeon General.”
She is a TV doctor on Fox News, and she loves the COVID-19 “vaccines.” She likes them so much, she advocated for more forms to get the mRNA “vaccines” into more people besides just using needles.
I’m sure Josef Mengele would have been proud of her.
She also made it clear during the COVID Scam that “vaccine hesitancy” was a huge threat to rolling out the Trump shots.
Will This Affect the MAGA Cult’s Enthusiasm?
I seriously doubt that these appointments, nor any others Trump makes, will have any effect on the MAGA cult members who are just thrilled to have their new King elected.
They email me all the time to defend him, so I already know that their response to these picks will fall into one of two broad categories.
1. “Trust the Plan.” Trump has a plan and we just have to trust it, as he plays 5D chess. If he didn’t make these appointments, then the alternative is that we will all be rounded up and forced to live in FEMA camps for the next ten years.
2. Trump is being fooled again by the people surrounding him, and he has no idea what he is doing. So we need to get word to him fast so he stops choosing these “RHINOS”!

This applies to Trump, all Republicans and Democrats and every other politician in the world, and all people in general. It is too early to criticize Trump, because the tree has not yet ripened and borne fruit. Let’s wait and see.
Viktor he already bore fruit for us to know him by in his last term. He reversed decades of hard work by environmentalists by getting rid of clean water and clean air laws that outlaw corporations and industry from polluting. We got most of them back under Biden but Trump promises to take them all away again so big business can start polluting our air and water again with impunity. Because, hey, we wouldn’t want a citizen’s right to clean air and clean water to get in the way of the almighty dollar and profits for the billionaires, right?

If the Dems actually were the party of environmentalism and peace and a good life for the average person and universal fairness, and if the Republicans actually were the party of racism and evil big business and billionaires and war, then most people (including myself) would be on the side of the Dems. Regarding the “very rich,” I view it as a bit more complicated because most of the wealthy people I know personally voted for Kamala (as well as almost all of the Hollywood elite and many huge corporations and other entities)–I’m not even sure which side you were attributing that observation to, but my point is more that both sides have serious $$$ backing them so to me that is almost not even a factor. Although I certainly agree that people with money being able to buy out the government is very wrong and should not happen.
I think your self awareness is admirable and you have a nice communication style. I usually never comment here myself, but this post confused me to the point where I felt inspired to do so because it seemed so out of place and I have been reading these articles for at least a couple of years now. The fact that something this overt was published made me question whether there is a bias to the site overall, so I was just seeking to clarify.

The impression I’m getting is that people can just send articles to EOL, and if the articles are at least vaguely reasonable, they get posted.
Which would make this website not an anti-Trump or a pro-Trump website, but just a platform that publishes user-sent articles.
I imagine that if a pro-Trump person wanted to send in a pro-Trump article, it would get posted too. Though I’m not an admin here and have no insider knowledge; this is just what it seems to me.
I think there’s value in this website publishing articles from several perspectives, and letting users choose what to believe and what not to. Discernment is an important part of growing spiritually, after all. And the alternative would be one person (Kejraj, the site’s owner and admin) determining what is truth and gets published, and what is false and doesn’t get published — and that would have clear drawbacks too.
I guess an argument could be made that if an article engages in, for example, name-calling then it shouldn’t be published even if it’s otherwise fine.
I mean I’ve read plenty of your channelings and they seemed sort of vaguely pro-Trump or maybe neutral (calling him a grey hat etc.), but to me those posts didn’t seem this extreme and biased/vitriolic. Most of the spiritual content I see online strives for balance or at least to give the impression of neutrality. But I’m not the site administrator so I’m not sure which criteria are being applied. This article just seemed way more divisive than I’m used to reading on here.

Trump is relying on us lighties to help him, on a more subtle level. I wasn’t sure what that really meant, and then Emma remarked that keyboard warriors help make truths acceptable to uncertain ears.

You can also just look at 2016 – 2020 vs 2020 – 2024 to get an idea whether Trump or Kamala’s administration will be better for average Americans (Kamala said she wouldn’t change a thing compared to what Biden did, so looking at Biden’s term is a reasonable indicator).
Also, the world was much more peaceful during Trump’s than during Biden’s administration. Which is massively important because of how many people are currently dying in Ukraine and Palestine. Plus Trump took some steps in his first term to combat human trafficking.
That said, yes the world is a scary and exhausting place, and I do empathize. I hope that somewhere in 2025 life will become much better for all of us. People on Earth are suffering and people do need practical, tangible help.

For what it’s worth, I do agree that there are suspiciously many jews in high places, doing shady things. That still raises a few questions though:
1. Are all jews bad or is it a corrupt faction among them?
2. Are they a convenient scapegoat set up for us to target while the real powers behind them remain invisible and anonymous?
