What is the New Awareness

By Owen Waters | Source

In the mid-1960s, the attention of young people took a sudden turn inwards. It was as if a light switch had turned on. They suddenly awoke and said,

“Oh, yes, I remember now. The answers are to be found within.”

The mid-1960s through the mid-1970s were times of inner searching. The outside world came to be seen as materially-obsessed and insincere. If there was meaning in life, it was to be found within.

The spiritual revolution in human consciousness had begun.

In the United States, the ‘Baby Boomer’ generation refers to people born between 1946 and 1962. Today, ‘boomers’ form one-third of the U.S. population, 14% of which are metaphysical believers and seekers. These leading-edge thinkers emphasize inner spirituality and self-expansiveness. Their sense of self is that of a real, inner self rather than an outwardly-focused, ego type of self.

The true, inner self is found in silence. The inner self is who you are. It is your soul. Your inner self is your personal link to the universe and to its source, the Absolute or Infinite Being. It is in this silence that you come to realize that everything in the universe is one, that separation is actually an illusion. In the light of this inner, soul connection, you also develop your sense of unconditional love for all of life and all of humanity.

Over the years, as the boomers grew into career-making, home-making and raising families of their own, their attention became focused upon the demands of the outside world. Their spiritual awakening appeared to have been put on hold. Instead, in reality, their spiritual awareness was building strength while it waited to find expression in the outer world.

By the 1990s, boomers were seeking to express that spirituality within their lives. In the period 1990-2003, for example, 25% of British adults in the 30-59 age group deliberately downshifted. This means that they made voluntary choices to better their health and family lives, even though such choices meant earning less money.

The 1990s saw the holistic lifestyle blossom and grow to include three times more people than before. Mind, body and spirit became the new mantra of holistic living. If something is good for your mind, body and spirit, then it is, by definition, good for the whole you.

The New Awareness today focuses upon gaining inner knowing through self-realization and self-development. It fosters spiritual self-reliance without the imposition of standards or duties by an external authority. With the New Awareness, your true, inner self is your authority. Your sense of responsibility becomes powered by love rather than fear. You do no harm to others because you love your fellow human beings, not because you fear judgment and punishment. Your spiritual awareness grows into spiritual adulthood. You no longer need to be told what to do, how to think, or what your place in life ‘should’ be.

Each person’s inner self is cultivated and treasured for its uniqueness. There is always potential for self-improvement, always potential for creating a better life. Along with inner development, comes a clearer sense of intuition or insight. Suddenly, with better insight, a person’s options in life become crystal clear. With insight, you easily identify the best course of action to successfully meet any challenge.

With insight, also comes synchronicity. Life begins to fold around your envisioned plan of action, supporting it by providing opportunities and resources just when they are needed.

Quality of Life is the new pursuit, replacing the old Standard of Living. Well-being of the whole self is paramount. Helping other people, being of real service to the world, is a natural desire which unfolds as your sense of inner connection strengthens.

Your self-esteem is boosted and healed in the knowledge that every person has a unique gift to offer the world, the knowledge that you’re going to deliver that gift, and that you’re going to love doing it!

Today, we are fortunate to have powerful and effective ways to access the whispering wisdom of our souls or inner selves. To learn about these new methods, read Soul Communion by Owen Waters.

I was born in 61 but bomer means nothing to me. I’ve never been one for labels. Much of the spiritual awakening mentioned here is something I can relate to … can remember growing up.

My parents had broken with tradition for self awareness and I was encouraged to think for myself and pursue my dreams. My parents didn’t have money. We weren’t poor but money was a burden. My father was an intellectual and a Christian minister. Part of his meager salary was a huge house to live in. So despite finances, we lived quite well, lived a philosophically rich life.

I personally never confirmed to anything including my religious upbringing. I went to college to be educated. A dumb move financially and it only solidified my disconnect from society.

I have always lived life to the fullest. Have never been wealthy, often living paycheck to paycheck but eternally rich … rich in spirit, rich in experience, rich in adventure, rich in the production of art, music, prose; rich in travel and seeing the world. I learned to live well on pennies.

I don’t really know the point of this message or mine but the feeling rings true. The times (60s 70s)were a changing and they led me to question everything; to awaken early to the global hoax, and to live a charmed life.

Was that the point? If you ask me it’s all about choices. Most people make bad choices then blame external sources. I chose risk, chose to follow my heart, chose the spiritual path and it guided me well.

Only bc your energy IS SOOO STRONG dear Chauncey:

I got woken up some 10 yrs ago to find out that ALL of my up to that point life I had “only followed a script” and at first I was “a little” upset… “CHOICES” are made PRIOR to incarnating… now it’s been too long to even remember what “I was like” “to ask myself” what difference it would’ve made if I’d known that fact before waking up… and bc your energy is giving me such an AMAZING bodyfeedback “MIND IF I ASK YOU”?🤭

Hi Klaudia. Thank you for the high vibes. I agree we choose before incarnating. What we do with that time is still up to us. All the setbacks I experienced in my life were self inflicted. It was a hard pill to swallow but liberating in the end.

You may ask but what is the question?

After a lengthy course in Klaudia-speak, I think it is:

“What difference (you think) it would have made to KNOW (your choice to know) that your choices were made before incarnating (*breathe*) BEFORE you eventually learned it ”

          You’re welcome. (Or not. Sorry)

I’ve been reading_and_replying_to Klaudia for several months, so I am still in “training wheels” for Klaudia_speak😌

But, I thought for all the world, that THIS is what she said:

            (Clears throat) Ahem:

            Go backwards to the mountains
            Go forwards to the shore
            Go sideways to the trees
            And when it’s all done,
            Laugh, and slap your knees!

And know, it was ALL just for FUN
            And That We Are One🙏🏻

            🤩😍😂💄🫦😘🥰❤️‍🔥😚😉⬅️ her favorite emoji usage!

            Oh, I SUPPOSE she could’ve meant…
What choices would you have changed, if you read your scripted mistakes ahead of time?
Would a perfectly lived life have been fulfilling?
The only saint in a world of accident prone boobs?

🧐🧐🧐no……….. my first nonsense guess makes the most sense, because nothing rhymes with script.

Oh “DEAR ME” Chauncey, today “THE POINT” of your message is crystal clear to me, bc “THE ANSWER” I was asking for you had given BEFORE I even asked 😁😁… hence “TCD&DL” are not even joking although I bet they “THINK” they are🥳😘, but that is due to not being aware of where “thoughts” are coming from… HENCE “Klaudia-speak”🤭😂😆 is CLOSE but not true… I’d never OWN “what’s only been given to me”… but that another BIG subject.

Anyways I appreciated A LOT “connecting with you” because “THAT CONNECTION” explained STH BEAUTIFUL to me from back in 2017 or -18, that lay dormant ever since… 🙏🙏

Don’t expect “yourself” to fully understand “what is HAPPENING HERE”… it’s too “multidimensional” and therefore impossible “even to me”😝 UNTIL we’ve reached “RIEN NE VA PLUS”… THEN we’ll see.

My Higher Self has always hinted at me “_America_ is different!” (compared to all other countries) but “4 reasons of neutrality” I was never supposed to know what it meant, but I guess since “you belong to my best keyword provider” that last curtain is about to fall… 😎🤓🙏❤️

This generation was indeed tinted by Neptune and Piscean values, among which were collective dreams and hopes that were not objectively tangible. Whether this turned into effectively crossing an invisible bridge away from a very strict reality that was forcing masses into austerity, war and hate; or being stranded in an illusory oasis of insanity, drugs and total irresponsibility for material existence depends merely on where you decide to see it from, as both perspectives are true.

Well……….. While I’m not technically boomer, I however matured into the same economy as boomers. My recollections are a lot less rosy or spiritual on this income subject.

Better paying jobs began leaving the US in the mid 70 ‘s, as I recall it.

Family men had fewer well paying jobs to fight over, the fantasy world of working honestly for one decent company until retirement was ending abruptly for quite a few.

Cheap imports began gutting Detroit’s car monopoly…when our big station wagon got too expensive to fuel, my father had to go with a cheap subcompact, and drove my mother to her sh*tty store job, to keep us in our dilapidated fixer upper. He couldn’t have gotten top dollar for that wagon.

I never personally witnessed a spiritual boomer, just haves, and have nots.

The few remaining hippies I saw as a kid, were all drug addicts, and were to be avoided at all costs, riding the bus😅

I’m not refuting Owen’s article, but it doesn’t jibe with my personal recollections enough, that I wrote this comment, and began remembering more and more.

For that, I thank him♥️. The energy crisis, inflation, the best music, bell bottom jeans, black is beautiful, Afros, democrats ruling the land (ugh).

I’d really like to hear other Era’s childhood recollections of these years, over any decades, as well, if any of you are willing.

My family had good times, too. Only as an adult, can I realize how hard they worked, to give us those fancy Barbie Dolls, GI Joes, for Christmas 🥹🥹🥹

Oh fuck right off, boomers were NEVER spiritual to begin with. They were the ones who created this fucking system we live in as slaves. They were the ones who rigged it in their favor and left my generation unable to even buy a shitty apartment. We’re doing all the fucking work while they just constantly disrespect us with their stupid sense of false superiority. The only thing they deserve is complete assimilation in the Galactic Central Sun.

I have to agree. My parents are Boomers, and they and their friends only really seem to care about money, status, social climbing, and one-upping each other. There are some exceptional Boomers here and there who are still creative, pure of heart, and dedicated to service, but I would say at least 95-98% of the generation completely sold out their children’s and grandchildren’s future in exchange for endless sweat shop Costco garbage consumerism and so that their owned real estate prices would go to the moon while they collect social security and medicare, take cruises, hit the casino every weekend, and rot on Facebook, gorging themselves endlessly at our expense–and then completely invalidate anyone who ever tries to point it out (we usually don’t bother). It’s been nonstop gaslighting and emotional invalidation right from the start.

The BPD helicopter moms demanded allegiance and obedience at any cost and clipped their children’s wings, telling them that the cage of expectation they had made for them was the best and only safe place for them before they could even think about attempting to fly. “Go to college, take on hundreds of thousands in loans. Boost my retirement fun.” Most Boomers I know are still imagining that they will live forever (muh med beds). I think it’s because deep down, they know that God is a lot more than “disappointed” with their generation for not only failing their mission but aiding and abetting the darkness for their own personal gratification, and they don’t want to face him because they know he’s pissed. So they drive around endlessly consuming and distracting themselves at a manic pace, refusing to settle peacefully into their golden years as their parents did.

I am okay with the idea of death, and they are not. Why is that?

“You got me thinking sweet Lil” but “ONLY BY DESIGN” as I just realized and that indeed feels AWEfully good 🙏🙏❤️…

Although “technically no real boomer _myself_” I must STRONGLY DISAGREE with your experiences 😆😆 but that might be due to “my location”… BACK THEN it’s always taken at least 10 years before “what you guys experienced” arrived in Europe PLUS having had “WORLD WAR II” helped as well… at least LOOKING BACK…

So when you were advised to AVOID “drug addicts” “drugs” were only starting over here… and as I’m wondering what to say next “those days back then” ARE HIGHLIGHTENING A FEW “NEW” AREAS as if saying “JUST EXPECT A LITTLE MORE” that’ll come “from back then”…

Yet with “ALL THAT _THINKING_” the whole picture has gotten “too big again for linear words” and so I”ll leave it at that and enjoy the gratitude YOU got going for me💎💎🙏❤️😘

Mmmm I comprehend what you say just…there is no failure to me.. at first instance there is experience. Their experience is our experience as we see them reflecting our own shadows. They are doing their part showing us how deeply the matrix has reached a deep control in the life of humans, for instance. Still there are few shining that did a lot of wonderful things, very inspiring.. in music for instance.. Anyway , they contributed to the building of the moment of now as we are all doing. There is no delusion to God at all. Experience . Expansion. Everyone is just returning home at their own path.
