The process of ascension is moving very quickly now for those who are on the path into the Fifth Dimension.

For some, there is a lot of confusion, because new and somewhat unusual experiences are now occurring. Some of these are positive and exciting — but others are rather intense and challenging.

It can be helpful to understand the process of ascension in terms of “timelines”, and how we are all shifting from lower-frequency timelines onto higher ones in a sped-up manner now. We have always experienced these timeline shifts, but it’s generally been a much slower process. We’ve usually had more time to acclimate to the higher frequency of a new timeline than we are now being given before we have to get ready for a yet another one.

Two Types of Timelines

It’s important to first understand that there are generally two types of timelines we’re traveling on. The first is a collective one, and the other is a personal one.

Much has been written lately about how a split has occurred in the collective time-line.

Some people are on a timeline destined for the Fifth Dimension; and others who are not ready for this are on different one continuing on in 4D.

If you’re reading this, you are likely already on the collective timeline heading for 5D. So what may be more important is understanding about your personal timeline, which may be shifting rapidly now, presenting you with new and rather confusing experiences.

Personal Timeline Shifts

Of course, everybody’s ascension experience is totally unique. Our experience in shifting onto a higher timeline is based on the frequency we’re currently holding, how much spiritual awakening has occurred so far, our particular experiences and situations in life, and ways in which we’ve learned to navigate through new experiences.

But there are perhaps some common experiences many of us can relate to in this process. It could be said that there are maybe two very different phases you can experience when a timeline shift happens.

First Phase

The first phase could generally be described as intense, uncomfortable and even frightening at times.
It’s where you become very aware that an old identity you’ve lived with is in the process of fading or dying – and you’re often feeling empty and bereft.

Your old interests and passions have become mundane and uninteresting. In addition, your sense of fun has kind of disappeared. You find you now have fewer friends you really relate to. Your work has perhaps declined or dropped away. And you experience depression, and even despair, more often than before. You’re essentially in a Void.

And, perhaps, most distressing, is that old woundings and traumas are arising in you – even ones you thought you’d healed in the past. This may really trouble you, causing you to wonder if, with all the work you’ve done on yourself, healing has not actually taken place.

What is happening with all this is a death process. It’s a death of old identities, aspects of your 3D self that are riddled with past memories of loss and fear and trauma.

These are the parts of you that cannot go with you into the Fifth Dimension. They need to be let go of. And, although this can sound like a positive experience, at times it can feel intense and frightening — simply because you’re losing what’s familiar. It’s all you’ve ever known.

But the good news about these old experiences coming up out of your unconscious is that they are coming up in order to be released.

Yes, it’s uncomfortable when they arise and you begin feeling all the old negative emotions and dark thoughts about yourself that are attached to these experiences.

And yet, if you can avoid focusing on them, and also not reject them – just letting them be – you will find they truly are in the process of leaving. They’re transmuting into light.

And they will at some point completely disappear. Sometimes within minutes – and sometimes within days.
If this experience goes on any longer, be aware that there is probably something you are needing to learn that has maybe kept you captive for a number of years — maybe even lifetimes. Or the message you’re being given is a complex one that takes time to decipher. But do know that this phase of the timeline shift will eventually end — and the patterns you’ve released will be gone.

And – if you can just hang in there and flow with the process, you will inevitably begin experiencing the second phase of a timeline shift. And realize that, in order for this second phase to occur, the first one was necessary.

Second Phase

The second phase is one in which it feels as if the sun has finally come out, and the skies are clear and bright.

You find you’re now somehow feeling a deep sense of well-being and contentment in your life – often for no apparent reason.

You’re feeling free now to experience some fun and pleasure in your life again. You feel stronger, more capable, more in charge of your life than ever before. Your intuition is clearer, and you trust it. Love flows easily from your heart to everyone around you.

And new fun, creative, exciting and pleasurable experiences start happening. Of course, for everyone, this all happens to different degrees; but to some extent or another, everything seems to shift into the positive.

In fact, it can be as if you’ve landed on a whole new planet – and indeed you actually have. You have made the shift onto a new timeline existing in a reality that vibrates in a higher frequency, one in which life is naturally easier and much more pleasant. You can relax and breathe more freely again.

One thing you also notice is the uncanny number of synchronicities that seem to be happening left and right.
Things you need are suddenly right there in front of you, sometimes even before you know you need them.

People appear right when you’re thinking about them.

There’s magic in the air. Life has even become miraculous at times. You have a deep trust that everything will always work out for you, one way or another. You know you’re being taken care of.

The Process Continues On

There are other new ways in which the higher timeline reality is functioning that you may also discover. And it can all be great fun and exciting to be living in it.

Until — of course – you are ready for the next timeline shift. And whoosh! You’re back into the first phase of a new timeline shift.

However, with each shift, it does get easier. The death of old identities, along with the arising of past woundings and patterns, isn’t quite so intense.

You begin to recognize earlier what’s happening and know how to flow with it better. So the shift is easier, and the new higher-vibration reality rolls into your life a lot faster.

And — you may find that both phases begin happening simultaneously. Really wonderful experiences are occurring, right amidst intensely uncomfortable events. You never know what might happen on a given day or how you’re going to feel. You just surrender to it all, roll with the punches, and then rise up laughing.

Again, all this may not be your experience, at least at this time. Everyone’s ascension process is unique. But you may at least relate to some of it — so hopefully, this explanation has been helpful.

At any rate, no matter what your experience may be, know that the ascension process at this point for all of us is truly a roller coaster. And we can’t get off of it — so we might as well learn to enjoy the ride!
