Mercury Retrograde is now officially occurring. Remember that the retrograde dates are between today, July 18th and August 11th, and the “post-shadow” is from August 11th to September 3rd.

Before Mercury retrogrades, there is the “pre-shadow” which is when Mercury enters the sign that it will eventually be in at its actual retrograde. During that time, events tend to begin to arise that will be the focus of thought and feeling during the actual retrograde.

When Mercury is indeed retrograde, this the time to NOT begin new projects, travel, leave or begin a new job position, spend lots of money, sign contracts, start home redecoration, build a new home, move to a new location, get engaged or married or divorced, have a surgical procedure (unless it is an emergency), or to develop community ideas or have community meetings. THEY WILL NOT WORK OUT AS INTENDED.

The “post-shadow” of a Mercury Retrograde is when the planet moves into the next sign away from the one it was in at its retrograde.

This is when certain ways in which to work things out begin to occur. The key words for a Mercury Retrograde are: RELAX, REFLECT, and REGENERATE.

This is especially vital during this particular retrograde because Saturn and Neptune are also retrograde. Any time any planet is retrograde, its energy is more magnified because it is closer to the Earth in its orbit.

Mercury governs communication (of all types), technological issues, and brain function. This is why there tends to be lots of miscommunication during a Mercury Retrograde. People also tend to trip over their words as they are speaking and have to go back and restate what they actually meant to say.

Saturn governs organizational structures, hard lessons, governments, corporations, businesses, the administrative offices of educational institutions, the military, and the police. Neptune governs spiritual elevation (and also mere fanciful notions according to a person’s level of consciousness), issues concerning water, and ships at sea.

Considering the planets that are now retrograde at the same time (although the degrees of their retrogrades may differ), human experiences are going to need extra discernment before moving forward. Some actions will be seen over the retrograde period to need to be released completely (once Mercury moves forward), some will need re-organizing for better outcomes. Consider this retrograde season a time of “High Retreat”.

Mankind’s stubborn tendencies may insist on doing what has always been done, but there will be frustration in this when chaos and confusion show up. It is not that we are to allow ourselves to be controlled by the cosmic realm, but it does have message to give when we are aware that it is the HIGHER COSMIC HOLY BOOK.

It gives us information on potential outcomes of human events and is the DIVINE REVELATION blessed to the ancient “Rishis” (“Sages”), and the Kheri-Hebutu and “Kheri-Hebu” (“High Priestesses” and “High Priests”). Then these revelations were orally taught and then written down by temple students.

Now, in these so-called “modern” times, we have “Spiritual Astro-Physicists” or “Spiritual Cosmic Scientists” who are well aware of the ancient teachings and endeavor to help others to understand them. Some do understand the cosmic messages, and some do not and are not at all interested in this HIGHER KNOWLEDGE. Do not engage in debate with those who are scoffers. Do not lower your vibration in order to meet their lower one. You cannot force anyone to elevate. We are not to interfere with free will.

So, if you are an individual who is definitely on the elevation path, on this first day of the “HIGH RETREAT”, light a candle and incense and declare your intention to receive great guidance from SOURCE — your HIGHER SELF — your SOUL.

Do only what is absolutely necessary in coming days. Refresh. Renew. “Ground” into the LIGHT!
