Like being a magnet to cinderellas all my life, being told am a natural leader too, it is to me very exhausting…usually what entails after that. I mean..who wants to be a leader? Cozier, more relaxing being a follower.
Years ago I met with my non romantic soulmate. First meeting conversation lasted 3 hours. We actually didnt need words, knew already what the other was going to say before saying it. The purpose for that brief acquaintance? Can only speak for my side as the recipient…that is..for him to remind me in soul deep telling that I was born a leader, should step up as one. Ooo…he tried to make lite of it, saying…it was just like him, born very handsome, so just be a very handsome man.
Took years later after he left due to work transfer that I finally understood. My connection and understanding to the word leader is someone with authority, of grandeur, power…someone like King Arthur? I am just Fanny and I only have armies of paint brushes a bucketful. Ooo…also lots of cinderellas surrounding me.
Next stop of the journey was what tcd had summed up beautifully here with the parable (thank you tcd! It spares us and myself from my boring lengthy blabla 😁).
In my shortest sentence here….phew! I am glad a leader of my version doesnt require wearing long heavy velvet robe 🤣🤣🤣.

I understand the point of healing but nowadays I feel a lot of pressure. Especially with the high cost of everything and the lack of empathy in our society. This is one of a very few send offs, I got to enjoy, when I have the distinct sensation that I’m doing them a real Solid, a real Favor.
As, not always, but frequently enough, the last chosen through the years, I can’t help but compare myself to others, then do what I can, within reason, to work on my shortcomings.
