The Egyptians tracked this same window — the heliacal rising of Sirius, when the brightest star in our sky returns over the eastern horizon after weeks of invisibility, marking the start of a new spiritual year. They linked her return to Isis, to rebirth, and to realignment with her soul path. Every year, the Earth, Sun, and Sirius align in this same sacred geometry, and a doorway opens between the physical and the spiritual — a doorway that holds through the peak on 8/8 and into the weeks that follow.
