Oh Boy..Oh Boy..Oh Boy!
Often I would sit in front of a blank canvas, feeling the urge to paint, yet have nothing particular what to paint. So I stared blankly at the canvas. Sometimes, but not always, an image appeared in my mind, liked a blitz of flash and gone.
This painting oil on canvas, titled Oh Boy.. Oh Boy..Oh Boy! was one of them, an image of a woman sitting on big leaves on top of a tree with some string instrument without strings, singing: 🎵 Oh boy..oh boy..oh boyyy...you dumbass down there!

Yes it is my creation. I painted the image of a woman playing string instrument and singing that appeared in my mind's eye in a flash. The title is the lyric of the song she was singing.

Merci, Raksha. You are one of the few people who said that my painting has a soul. One of them was a lady who saw my painting of a fat naked woman from the back sitting on a rock that were surrounding her, holding her baby in her arm. Ahead of her there was an opening with bright light. The painting was only in one color - green, of all shades.
The lady saw it in a gallery whose owner had asked me favor to borrow several of my paintings to display, aside from several he had officially bought from me. I cant remember now what I titled that green woman painting as. I remember tho, that I almost threw that very painting away, thinking it was not good enough for anyone to want to buy it. Was I wrong!
The gallery owner called me for her, and let her talked to me directly about the price I asked for. The gallery owner and I didnt talk about commision or any other business contract. It was a favor afterall. So the lady who wanted to purchase my painting and I talked over the price I was asking plus....friendly commission for the gallery owner, we had a deal.
When I asked her what does the painting mean to her to want to buy it? Her reply was simple and direct: It has a soul.

It used to be my main job when collaborating with that specific gallery owner. He was a foreigner here. When we met and started talking about my paintings, I told him straight up that I wasnt looking for fame, didnt want a shiny portfolio exhibiting with so and so galleries. I paint because I love doing it, because it is my langguage to convey my thoughts and feelings, that if my paintings can touch a buyer and they can relate to them with their own life experiences, it's a win-win for me. He didnt even have to organize en exhibition for me... ever. If he liked and wanted to buy my paintings, simply to tell me which, pay me cash and done...sold. He paid whatever price I asked for, he sold in his gallery whatever price he asked for. He liked it that way too. So every 2 or 3 months, he would come to my studio, chose 5 to 10 or more of my paintings, paid for them, and off he went until next 2 or 3 months.
Yes I have plenty images of my paintings. You remember I once mentioned that everytime a person pisses me off, I will paint 30 paintings 😂. I wasnt joking or bluffing. But, Raksha, here on this forum only you who are interested seeing my other paintings. I dont want to hijack Kejraj's forum. Besides, a lot of my paintings involved naked bodies, which to me represent innocence.
I will share the non naked ones...slowly, to give others chance and space to share their creation too.
I asked KJ for a forum for years, and people have always complained about the comment section.
KJ told me at the time: “Well, we tried it, but people still used the comment section.” I was skeptical, but it seems he was right.
Since I pestered KJ a few times about it, I feel some responsibility to pull my weight on that forum. Oh, and of course, it has only just been brought back, so maybe my conclusion is too hasty… but yeah.
About your paintings, I don’t think I’m the only one interested — but I may be the only one on the forum, haha.
My mother and my sister are both artists, so I know quite a lot of people in that field, including artists, gallerists, etc. But in Paris, there is a dirty component to it. There is something that is not really about art anymore, but about fame, status, or whatever that thing is. I know plenty of artists who have become disgusted by it.
That being said, I would still very much like to see your other works, and I think nude paintings are perfectly fine.
I may want to piss you off, now 🙂
