The difference between this type of Forum and modern platforms

It is immense.
This is the best.
This type of Forum was happily abandoned when modern platforms appeared, such as Facebook, etc.
But note the huge difference.
A conversation in a modern platform quickly is buried under new posts, and becomes pratically inacessible.
This estimulates the posts to be superficial, quick, shallow, there are no conditions for a more in deepth conversation.
Here that doesn't occur, a subject may be discussed for years, the posts are all there and easily accessible.
