Elon Musk Rips MSM Over Border Crisis: ‘Strange This Receives Very Little Media Attention’

One of the world’s most powerful men has signaled he is aware of the ongoing crisis at the U.S. southern border and is surprised by the lack of media coverage it is receiving.

For at least the second time in weeks, Elon Musk commented on reporting done by Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin and his team at the U.S.-Mexico border.

On Sunday, Melugin published drone footage of huge, coordinated mobs of illegal aliens entering Del Rio Sector in Texas.

“We’ve already witnessed 500+ migrants cross illegally into Eagle Pass, TX this morning alone, including this huge single group of 290. You’ll see part of the group walk to the edge of a local highway before being stopped by TX DPS troopers. Almost all single adults,” Melugin wrote on Twitter.

“These two large groups totaling 200+ also crossed illegally into Eagle Pass, TX this morning, again, predominantly single adults,” he continued in a follow-up post.

“Eagle Pass is part of Border Patrol’s Del Rio sector, which had seen approx 400,000 illegal crossings since October. Bigger than pop of New Orleans.”

“That’s correct, 400,000 in just the Del Rio sector since fiscal year 2022 began on October 1st, and that does not include gotaways,” Melugin confirmed.

In response, Musk asserted, “Strange that this receives very little attention in the media.”

More than 2,200 illegal crossings were recorded in Del Rio Sector in just 24 hours over the weekend, and heavy migrant traffic continued into Monday.

Last month, Musk made waves when he weighed in on a viral video showing a stunningly large group of migrants crossing the Rio Grande under the direction of human smugglers.

“Wow,” Musk wrote in response to the shocking footage.

Musk’s single-word comment has racked up more than 32,000 likes and the video has been viewed nearly 4.5 million times, indicating many users have likely been exposed to a startling glimpse of the ongoing border catastrophe who may otherwise be under-informed about the matter.
