As the turbulent, chaotic uncertainty of everyday life continues to swirl on a kaleidoscope of different levels, it would be easy to succumb to the furore, feeling lost, alone, and overwhelmed. Yet, at the same time, despite the maelstrom of chaos, there is a more subtle energy starting to rise up from deep within our hearts and souls. This energy feels stronger, more balanced and with foundation, and this energy represents a more far-reaching consciousness, helping each of us to see the bigger picture with more clarity than ever before. So, whilst it’s hard to make sense of the chaos all around, perhaps life isn’t just about making sense of it, perhaps it’s about choosing to live life as well as we possibly can despite the chaos?
The pendulum will continue to swing in all directions, and many will feel overcome by the uncertainty, but the more each of us can find strength and peace within, the more we can become the foundations that offer peace and stability. It’s unquestionably hard not to be carried along in the currents when so many are struggling, when money is tight or with politics gone mad, but when we go within, we step beyond the external chaos, and it’s our inner worlds where the magic truly happens, as it’s here that we have the power to connect to our spiritual unity to bring us together and guide us. Yet, it’s hard to stand strong with such chaotic energies whipping up a storm, so we each have to find ways to ‘step back’: from watching less news and less social media, to taking time out for quiet, nature and reflection. Life has to be about balance. The modern 24/7 nature of life makes it hard to ‘switch off’ and it’s important to realise that we don’t need the constant stimulation of external input, sometimes the only way to find balance is to go within.
Of course, going within, doesn’t fix what’s happening all around us, but the more of us that can find true balance, the more we can be the pebbles in the pond of life creating ripples that reach out to others. Sometimes life isn’t about charging in, sometimes it’s about finding another way; listening to our hearts and souls to guide us. Beyond the maelstrom, the awakening continues, and this is the key we each need to seek now as we are reaching the culmination of a profound stage of change. On many levels we may feel as though we’re teetering along a path of cracked ice holding a bar of dynamite and a lit match, but much of this perspective is being shaped by external events. When we pause and take a deep breath, we realise that we are not those events, we are free spirits and whilst we may not be able to change those events, we can choose how we react.
There is much to be said for dynamite as it certainly clears the way and removes obstacles, but it seems clear we need a gentler strategy now, one where we let go of the external chattering noise and chaos, and instead go within, letting go of old beliefs and linear thinking to lighten the load and breathe freely once again. Inevitably this means stepping into unknown terrain, and it may mean a dark night of the soul for some as they challenge their own beliefs and ideals, but it takes courage and faith to let go. It’s time to be free of the fear that holds us back from diving deeply into our hearts and souls in order to live more in tune with life. Life is amazing, awe-inspiring, and breath-taking, but we so often don’t notice this because we are distracted by the chatter all around. It’s time now to choose a different path and to wholeheartedly embrace a new way of living and being…
For now, and as always, I wish you all kinds of wonderful.
As you continue to seek out balance and allow your inner voice to lead the way, there is a sense that November will be a month to grab hold of the moment in order to make some important decisions as to what your true priorities in life are. Although you have always had a strong sense of self, you often sacrifice your own needs or wishes for others, and whilst you have grown more aware of this over time, you seem ready now to re-shape and re-define what happens next. It’s as though your head is weighed down with duty and responsibility, looking after the needs of others, but your heart is longing to be free and explore new terrain. As a result, you often feel torn between the two, feeling frustrated that you are tethered or restrained. Yet, these tethers only truly exist because you place them there.
After all, no one has the capacity to hold you back when your heart and soul lead the way; you know that it’s perfectly possible to follow your own path, and, at the same time, be a support for others whilst not becoming too embroiled in their whims and ways. In other words, you can achieve balance even when those around you seek out your time, energy, and resources. In many ways, you wouldn’t feel complete if you stopped being so giving and generous, so instead of seeing this trait as an issue to overcome, see it as the gift it is and realise that you have the energy, compassion, creativity, and courage to live the best possible life and to let your true colours shine brightly. In many ways, you thrive when you’re the rock that others seek out, so it’s important to acknowledge this, yet, at the same time know that honouring your own needs isn’t selfish, nor is it self-indulgent. So, balance is now the name of the game…
As you continue the process of de-cluttering many areas of your life, it seems you have found an unexpected reward from this in the shape of a deeper level of self-understanding. You have often pondered why you are the way you are and why you so often give yourself a hard time, feeling like you must do more, achieve more, see more and be more in order to feel ‘whole’ or to be happy. Of course, you set the bar high and have high expectations for yourself, but this goes further and deeper than this into your heart and soul. It seems difficult for you to not focus on the gap between where you are and where you feel you need to be, and this appears to be the measure you use to gauge your success in life. This is understandable, but it’s also not ideal as it doesn’t take into account the reasons why you’re not where you think you should be – that’s life!
The path meanders, that’s a fact. The path brings dead ends, pots holes and off-road experiences, that’s also fact. Yet, when you keep your focus on the gap between where you are and where you want to be, you miss all of this. It’s so often the random, incongruent experiences that have the potential to bring the most joy, so it seems important that you take some time to shift your focus away from the constant push, push, push. Your motivation is phenomenal, but so is your creativity and your intuition, so use them! Your inner light shines brightly, and it’s time now for this to illuminate your path to guide you forward, encouraging you to follow the path you want to walk as opposed to the path you feel you ought to walk. It’s time to break free from those ought’s, must’s and should’s in order to re-connect to your vibrant and sparkling inner essence…
Finding your truth looks set to remain centre stage throughout November as you continue to contemplate what ‘truth’ actually means to you. Is your truth what lights up your soul? Is truth the path you feel you ought to follow in life? Is truth the need for your essence to dance freely? At the end of the day, only you can define truth as your truth is yours and unlike anyone else’s. You have always struggled to juggle the desire to be free with the desire to go with the flow, but you have now realised that these do not have to be mutually exclusive. In essence, you have the gifts to do both at the same time. Yet, what exactly does that mean? How can you be free but go with the flow at the same time? It’s all about perspective.
You are a multi-faceted, multi-levelled soul, and your view of the bigger picture of life reaches much further and wider than most could even begin to comprehend. This is your gift and it’s time to use it now in order to let your truth find its own way. Yes, this isn’t something you need to do or get, it’s a willingness to allow the process, allowing your intuition to lead the way. ‘Truth’ then takes on something much clearer and brighter in your consciousness as it steps beyond ought’s and beyond the confines of your own beliefs and imagination. In short, this isn’t a time to define yourself by the things you cannot do or the things you haven’t achieved, instead this is a time to open up your mind, body, and soul to your truly expansive nature. You seem ready to live more wholeheartedly and this may create some impatience to get on with things, but this isn’t a process to be rushed, it’s a process to savour and enjoy as this is the beginning of a brand new you…
November looks set to be a time where you start to look at your life with fresh perspective and you re-connect more wholeheartedly to your true sense of self. You spend a great deal of time keeping on keeping on, working hard to get from where you are to where you want to be. Yet, things have been shifting over recent months and you are beginning to realise that the answers to the questions you’ve been searching for don’t exist in either the past or the future; they are with you in the here and now. This is a giant leap for you as you so often wonder why things are the why they are, and your quest to find the answers to your many questions has often left you tied up in knots or confused with life. However, whilst you often seek out answers to life’s questions, intuitively you do know that life is inherently uncertain and many of your questions don’t have answers. You can’t help but try!
At the same time, despite frequently feeling frustrated with the ebb and flow of the tides of life, you have started to find a deeper layer of peace within your heart and soul, allowing you to walk more gracefully with the tides rather than trying to resist the flow in your quest to understand and seek out answers. This shift is a significant one as it shows just how much you have grown and evolved, and your wisdom and creativity are both rising up from deep within the core of your being. You seem ready now to step beyond the concept of keeping on keeping on and towards living your life with more courage and passion than ever before. So, there is a need for you to seek out more peace in the present moment and to realise that life doesn’t just have to be about what you do or what you achieve, it’s actually more about how you live…
Change has been a central and on-going theme in your life for a long time now, in many ways it feels like the ‘norm’ as the shifting currents are forever ebbing and flowing. It seems clear that you have found a level of peace and acceptance when it comes to change, and you can now more wholeheartedly acknowledge its inevitability in life. Yet, at the same time, there is still a part of you that tries to buck the trend and go your own way! This isn’t a judgment or a criticism, it’s just an acknowledgement that your creative and passionate spirit is always seeking opportunities to flourish and thrive. At the moment, you find yourself standing at a crossroads in your life, and whilst it may seem obvious to keep moving forwards, you can’t help but wonder where the other paths may lead. Yet, is the path in life always straight ahead or is it the willingness to go off road or in new directions that’s ultimately more rewarding?
It’s so easy to focus on the gap between where you are and where you want to be, looking towards the horizon, but sometimes life isn’t about the destination, it’s about the journey. This maybe a cliché, but intuitively you know that it’s time to stop thinking in linear form, and to start expanding your consciousness in every single direction. You are a phenomenal soul, and your awareness stretches far and beyond the comprehension that most others could even begin to grasp, so use this gift and embrace your talents to live your very best life. See change as an opportunity to expand your mind and learn how to feel the bliss point when riding the shifting currents. Of course, there are times when you have to stand up and resist, but the magic comes in knowing the difference. This is your moment to shine…
You have spent a great deal of time unravelling and unpicking the knots and tangles within your life; you have painstakingly worked hard on some of the knots that others would have deemed impossible to deal with, but your perseverance has seen you succeed. There is no doubt that your diligence and determination enables you to see opportunities where others see brick walls, and your perspective on life brings you great wisdom and awareness. Although you are aware that your drive towards clarity and being ‘knot free’ is strong, you are also aware that there is a need to find ways to accept yourself exactly as you are, as your quirks, imperfections and complexities are all a part of the beauty that makes you, you. It’s understandable to want to unravel these knots to feel clearer and freer, but knots are an inevitability in life: as one goes another forms, as this is just a part of being human.
Therefore, try not to use these inner knots as a measuring stick for how you feel about yourself or your life, try to realise that it’s these perceived imperfections that bring you uniqueness and creativity, so try to show them tenderness and compassion, knowing that they are a part of you. It’s not necessarily the case that untangling these knots makes for a happier life, as happiness isn’t a by-product of fixing everything you perceive to believe needs fixing. Happiness is a force in its own right, and it needs to be cultivated and given the space to flourish and thrive. It therefore seems clear that it’s time to find new ways to live your life where your focus isn’t gazing towards where you feel you need to be, it’s more on the present moment, giving you an opportunity for self-reflection, as well as some time to find ways to create more happiness in your life…
‘Let your spirit dance in the sunshine, breathe deeply and go with the flow’, these parting words from last month still ring true as there is a sense of space, freedom and movement rising up from deep within the core of your being as you start to look beyond the everyday and towards your true priorities in life. In many ways, you have been treading water for a very long time, trying to do your best, trying to keep others happy and to live the life you felt you ought to be living. Whilst you have always had a sense that there is a ‘bigger picture’ to explore, it’s been hard for you to find the breathing space to step into the expanse beyond day-to-day life. November looks set to see you beginning a process of taking stock of your meanderings in life as your heart and soul are yearning for something more; it’s hard to articulate as there is a clear sense of creativity and adventure, but there is little clarity or detail surfacing as yet to be more specific.
Whilst this is frustrating, in many ways it is to be expected as you are changing and evolving so quickly that what seems apt today may feel like a million miles away tomorrow. So, it seems clear that there’s a need for you to be flexible, and to be prepared to go with the flow a little more in order to ride the leading edge of the waves of life. You now find yourself in new territory and although it may feel strange, there is a distinct air of excitement as you start the process of releasing a great deal of pressure from your shoulders. It’s as though the ought’s, must’s and responsibilities you’ve been carrying for years are starting to change in shape and form allowing you to take a big stretch and breathe deeply back into life once again…
As the winds of change continue to bring lightness and brightness into your heart and soul, there is a sense that you are growing increasingly aware of the stillness within you. Although your everyday life might feel anything other than still, deeply tucked away at the core of your being is a pool of tranquillity, almost like an oasis of calm and wisdom. It can be hard for you to access this inner calm as your life often seems chaotic and tumultuous, but when you take a moment to breathe and re-centre, you are able to re-connect, albeit briefly, to this wondrous space within. November looks set to bring you an opportunity to develop this connection further, so you shift from fleeting moments of connection towards having this energy flowing more freely throughout your life.
Of course, in order to celebrate this shift, it seems important to know exactly what accessing your inner tranquillity may bring you, yet intuitively you already know the answer as you have always been aware of this stillness and its residence in the corner of your soul. It’s a shame it has so often gone unnoticed and unacknowledged, but your life has simply been too busy for you to get some much-needed breathing space. It seems you have stepped over a threshold now where you just can’t ignore your need for balance any longer; you know that it’s this inner pool of energy that opens up the door to your true path. Yet, when life gets busy and others place demands on your time and energy, how can you justify taking the time out to go within? Perhaps re-wording this would help. How can you NOT justify the time to go within? This is a pivotal moment in your life and it’s important you honour your own needs as your inner world seems to be the key to opening up a brand-new way of living and being…
As you continue on your quest to travel more lightly in life, November looks set to bring you some powerful and profound revelations when it comes to your path ahead. For a long time now, although you have had a good idea as to how you would like to be living your life, it has been hard for you to get a stronger sense of clarity or tap into the finer details as you haven’t been overly clear as to what you actually want from life. It’s a bit like setting the sat nav without knowing your destination but just hoping the sat nav will get the idea and take you to where you need to go! It now seems time for you to turn to face your inner world and to acknowledge the truth of your goals, dreams and hopes. At the same time, it’s important for you to finally embrace your gifts and realise that they play a pivotal role on the path ahead.
It’s been easy for you to become caught up in the distraction of day-to-day life as there are always demands on your time, yet it’s also been convenient as it’s meant you haven’t had to wholeheartedly embrace your dreams. It’s hard to articulate but there’s a sense that a part of you is reluctant to ‘go live your dream’ just in case it isn’t what you want, or it doesn’t work out, and whilst both are possible, it’s equally as likely that it is what you want, and it does work out. So, is it better to live in distraction to avoid finding out or to take a chance and follow your intuition? You are a gifted, intuitive, and creative soul and the time has come for you to throw open the doors within in order to let these gifts flow freely now. Believe in yourself and know that it’s time for your soul to shine brightly…
As you continue to navigate the ebb and flow of the tides of life, there is a sense that you are beginning to see the value in the distractions and diversions that so frequently appear. Although you are a determined soul and work hard to achieve your goals, you have also reached a stage of awareness where you are more accepting of the changes and distractions when they appear as you have realised that it’s often the things that disrupt the flow that bring you clarity and insight. This may sound counter-intuitive, but it seems that when the tides turn or the flow disrupts, you are made to pause and stop keeping on keeping on, and this focuses you to think about yourself, your life, and your path. It’s so easy to get caught up on the treadmill, just going with the flow and not really thinking about how much this flow truly suits your needs, so these little (sometimes big) hiccups are an opportunity for you to reset the balance and to check that you are still heading in the right direction.
Of course, there will always be twists and turns, as that’s an inevitable part of being human, but when you see this as a natural process within the flow rather than an annoying distraction, your perspective shifts, opening up the bigger picture. Whilst this doesn’t fix those distractions or make them less frustrating, when you start to see the gifts they often present, your focus shifts, enabling you to face your life differently and more intuitively. As you know, you do have a very wise head on your shoulders, so use this to your advantage and use your phenomenal intuition to navigate the tides with courage and creativity. Use this time to re-assess and re-evaluate your life and your path, and know that the more you open up to your inner wisdom, the more you will ride the waves with grace and beauty…
The theme of self-compassion looks set to take centre stage for you throughout November as you continue to focus on all that you have achieved and all that you are. It’s so easy to revert back to focusing on everything you’re not and on where you feel you need to be, but you are aware that the more you do this, the more you feel a sense of lack because it takes you away from the present moment. Of course, you still have dreams to strive towards and you have plenty of things to tick off on your life ‘to do’ list, but it’s important not to measure your happiness, joy, or contentment against a list of things you haven’t done yet as it’s who you are now that matters most. This is easy to say, but you have always set the bar high when it comes to your expectations for yourself, yet, you also sense the need for change as placing yourself under immense pressure to do more, be more and achieve more isn’t making you truly happy.
Finding out what does make you truly happy has been a lifetime in the making, but your struggles in this area are so often related to you feeling like you still have so much to do, see, and achieve in order to get to the promised land of happiness. It’s important to realise that happiness is a state of being that needs nurturing in its own right, it needs to be embraced and acknowledged, welcomed, and loved. Whilst you will always be driven to set high expectations for yourself, it’s time now to shine the light of compassion within to find more peace and joy in the here and now. The more you seek out happiness in everyday moments, the more you will realise just how talented, creative, and amazing you truly are. It’s time to stop trying to get life ‘right’ and to instead start living your life well…
As you continue to seek out new ways to manage the seemingly permanently revolving door in your life, there is a sense that, at the core of your being, a monumental shift is beginning to stir. In many ways, the person you used to be has evolved into someone new as you just don’t recognise the person you were last month, let alone last year. Whilst this is an inevitable part of life, this shift seems more profound and significant as it’s not simply related to the passing of time, it’s more about how you have grown as an individual. Standing up for yourself and your own needs has never been easy for you as you so often give so much to so many, and whilst this will always be a factor in your life (as it’s how you’re made), there is a need to accept that it’s your choice to give. In other words, it’s important to see your own role in this dynamic rather than feeling like a powerless pawn in the game of life.
You may often see yourself as a piece of driftwood being carried by the tides of other people’s lives, but you are not passive and certainly not driftwood! It’s time to own your own power and to realise that your intuition and creativity both enable you to experience life more wholeheartedly. As a result, the things that once seemed important now seem less so as you realise that your true goals aren’t based on the needs or wishes of others, nor are they based on things to do or be, they are based on an overwhelming desire to find peace, joy, and purpose in your life. You’ve finally shifted towards seeking a state of being that nourishes and nurtures you from the inside, out, and brings you a true sense of balance even when the door of life continues to revolve and turn.
