There is still a great deal of confusion and bewilderment all around as the ebb and flow of life has been chopping and changing in both direction and speed. As a result, there is a sprinkling of chaos in the air that has reached deeply into our hearts and souls as we each try to find some solid ground to stand upon in order to regain our equilibrium. It’s hard to articulate, but it feels as though we have become more aware of the myriad of different threads that weave together to form the bigger picture of life. This kaleidoscope is magnificent, but it’s also humbling and a little overwhelming as so little of it is within our comprehension and understanding. It’s as though every single moment, thought, sound and experience collide into one, and although we are a part of this, and we have the capacity to become one with it, we cannot truly understand it.
There are many amongst us who struggle and wrestle with the unknowable in life, trying to seek out answers and becoming paralysed in inaction when the answers do not come. In many ways, this is something we all do on some level as we all look for a better time or a better moment to act. Of course, the risk with this comes from creating an inertia that then becomes hard to break. It’s as though we become lost in a sea of hope, waiting for clearer directions or more certainty, but if these do not appear, we lose sight of our own inner resources to guide us.
It’s easy to see why we can feel lost and alone, particularly when our inner guidance system starts to fade. When we get caught up in this cycle, it’s hard to see a way out, but all we need to do is to re-centre and allow our consciousness to breathe freely. Our inner guidance system is with us always, it never leaves, it just fades into the background when we forget to use it. So, it’s a bit like riding a bicycle, once we learn, we never truly forget.
In order to navigate our way through these confusing times, there is a need to pull our energy in slightly so we can fully connect to the core of our being. Once connected, when we breathe out, we expand on all levels. The more this happens, the bigger our connection and interconnection becomes, changing the dynamic from confusion towards peace and acceptance. In truth, there isn’t much we can do to stop the energetic chaos all around us, all we can do is to find the peace within us and use that as an anchor and a lighthouse, to illuminate the path ahead, but to shine a light for others lost in the darkness.
When life is full of challenges, it’s easy to feel overlooked, lost, and overwhelmed. We can then feel insignificant and isolated, unsure how to reconnect to the bigger picture of life. Yet, it’s important to know that the day we were born, the world shifted slightly, and everything changed. Each of us forms a vital part of the whole and we each bring a little light into the universe. It’s time to focus on the things that unite us rather than on what divides us. However, when we see so much anger and judgement ricocheting around the world, it’s easy to feel we have lost hope and will never change direction, but when we each step beyond the fear and connect deeper to our hearts and souls, we realise that we are not the anger or the chaos, and our love and compassion have the power to heal, unite and bring peace.
We are at something of a see-saw moment, when the energies swing back and forth between confusion and anger, and compassion and love, and for many of us, we can be stuck in the middle not really sensing either end of the scale, but still feeling the full effects of the see-saw as it rocks up and down. Yet, for those of us more awakened and more connected, we feel it all, intensely and profoundly which can be overwhelming at times, but unless we feel the truth, we are unable to be the instigators of change.
It’s therefore essential that each of us find ways to navigate these storms in life and to learn how to remain calm during the chaos. It’s easy to feel as though we are in a tiny boat being tossed about by the waves because in many ways we are being tossed about, but this is multi-layered and multi-factorial. There are many different threads weaving in and out throughout this process, so rather than just being focused on the one’s that make the most noise, we need to look deeper to connect to the bigger picture, enabling us to step beyond the storm and towards a place of retreat and calm. This isn’t to run away from the chaos, it’s to regroup and find new ways to bring about balance through love and compassion.
It’s unquestionably hard to feel very zen-like when life seems so chaotic and the volume has been turned up so loud, but instead of feeling the burden of this, we need to look beyond the struggle and realise that we each have a role to play in what happens next. Every spiritual soul opening up more to love, compassion and connection has the power to transport the collective to a new level of living and being. It will take time, and effort, but we seem to be at a tipping point of immense significance now.
It has long been believed that we evolve through suffering and pain, as many of the scars we bear (physical, emotional, or spiritual) bring wisdom and insight. It’s clear that many creative and spiritual souls carry a great many of these scars and have transmuted them into beauty and majesty. It’s as though the challenges and pain create cracks and scars, and these let more light in. As a result, so many spiritual souls also carry these scars, and this gives us the ability to transmute the darkness and chaos into light. Despair into hope…
Scars come in many shapes and sizes, they are not badges to collect and polish, but reflections of those experiences in life that have brought us insight and wisdom. We so often try to heal over those scars, to put on masks or to push the pain away, but they are a part of us. In many ways, they complete us. It’s important to tenderly look within to honour our scars and to know that they have the power to take us deeper into love. Healing is not about eradicating the scars, it’s about finding strength and peace from them.
Yet, when we acknowledge those scars, we can feel vulnerable, alone, and scared. So, it’s important to remember that when we’re feeling lost and alone, overwhelmed or disconnected, we are never truly on our own as there are always other souls walking at our side. They might physically be hundreds or even thousands of miles away, but they are there. This is a time for increasing unity, a time to smile deeply, and a time to connect. In many ways, it’s just the act of being open that creates the shift, but the more we unify with others, the more we realise just how powerful love can be.
We’re often so distracted by the chaos around, things to do, people to see, places to go, and to do lists to complete that we forget to think about what truly makes our hearts sing and our souls dance. Life can become a chore and we slowly lose the sparkle and fizz of being alive. So, it’s time to take some deep breaths and to think about what we truly want.
What makes your heart sing? What makes your soul dance and your spirit soar? It’s time to let love be your guide now…
For now, I wish you all kinds of wonderful.
As you continue to connect more wholeheartedly to your courage and creativity, there is a sense that you are seeking new avenues to express your passion and spark. You have reached a stage of your life where being the person you feel you ought to be is no longer enough as you long to breathe more deeply into all aspects of your soul. You have spent so long trying to be the rock for others that you have sacrificed a great many of your dreams and goals in the process, at the same time, you have often hovered on the periphery, unsure whether you should stand up and reach for your dreams, doubting your gifts and wondering if you truly have what it takes. Yet, how can you ever know unless you try?
Your creativity needs more room to flourish and thrive now in order to step towards a new way of living and being, one that allows you to express your true essence as your intuition guides you towards pastures new. It’s time to reclaim your fiery creativity and effervescent determination as you stop over-thinking and over-scrutinising, and instead seek out new ways to live your best life. Whilst you will always be a rock for others, it’s time now to prioritise your own needs and dreams. You are nearing a pivotal turning point, one that looks set to transport you towards new adventures and new connections, so make the most of this opportunity to re-write the rule book and to honour yourself and your dreams far more. Take some deep breaths and allow the fire within your heart and soul to burn brightly once again as this is your true source of guidance and inspiration. Let go of the doubts and start believing in yourself more. This shift won’t happen overnight, but open up to allow the process, as this will bring you both wisdom and peace…
August looks set to be a month to create some much-needed breathing space as you seek out new ways to further streamline and simplify your life. Your ‘To Do’ list always seems long and often gets longer no matter how much you achieve. Whilst this is a natural part of being human, there is a sense that you want some time to breathe in order to re-shape and re-define your life from the inside, out. The sheer volume of things to do, people to see, places to go and items to tick off from your ’to do’ list can feel overwhelming at times and leave you feeling as though you have very little time for yourself. You then feel tied up in knots and in a bit of a spin as your usual earthy sure-footedness feels flimsy and out of reach. It therefore seems clear that you need to find ways to re-structure your life, to stop placing yourself under so much pressure to complete your ‘to do’ list and to instead focus on the things that are truly important.
Of course, there will always be chores to do and responsibilities to fulfil, but these don’t have to consume you. You have the intuitive awareness to step back to look at the bigger picture of your life to see exactly how you can lighten the load. You are ready now to travel through life more lightly as you let go of a great deal of this pressure; this process starts with a willingness to honour yourself and to shine the light of compassion within. Your harsh self-talk adds to the pressure, so try to turn it around and be tender and loving towards yourself, after all if someone spoke to you the way you speak to yourself, you wouldn’t just accept it would you? The time has come for less ‘doing’ and more ‘being’ as you unwind the pressure and focus on living your best life…
As the currents of your life continue to ebb and flow, there is a sense that you are beginning to feel the stirrings of change deep within your heart and soul. You have been on the periphery of change for a long time, intuitively knowing that change is needed, but not being able to pinpoint exactly what will change or when. Although this still seems to be the case, remember that there is great power in uncertainty, particularly if you allow yourself to wholeheartedly go with the flow of the process. In truth, no one can ever know what’s around the next corner in life, and although this has long frustrated you as you’ve tried to answer many of life’s unanswered questions, you have reached a stage where you feel able to step beyond the uncertainty and towards a place of deeper peace. This doesn’t mean the answers will suddenly appear, it’s more a sign that you have realised that having all of the answers is a life-long quest, and you are ready now to focus on being more present in the here and now. So, instead of waiting for a better moment, you are ready to embrace life in the moment, to reach towards your dreams and to flourish and thrive despite the uncertainty.
Life is rarely straightforward, but your ability to see into the nooks and crannies of most situations and events allows you to take a more rounded view. Yet, as mentioned above, there is also the risk that this ability can keep you in the nooks and crannies, trying to make sense of why things are the way they are. Don’t let this stifle you as it will build walls around you, so step beyond the questioning and towards a place of peaceful acceptance. Whilst this acceptance might simply be an acknowledgement that there is much you still don’t know, but embrace this and realise that it’s often in the unknown where the true magic and wisdom resides…
As you continue to take stock of the life you’ve lived, the life you’re living and the life you’d like to be living, there is a sense that you are realising just how much your life has been shaped by trying to be the person you’ve felt you needed to be to succeed. Everyone wears masks as it’s how we cope, but there is a sense that your masks have built up like sedimentary rock and have created an almost impenetrable layer of protection. Although these masks have helped you through some challenging and difficult times, your need for them is shifting and you seem ready now to let them go. This takes courage and strength, but you have been preparing for this for most of your life, so you intuitively know you have all the resources you need. However, how do you shed these masks? How do you break through the layers of sedimentary rock? This might feel like a gargantuan and overwhelming task, but this shift is not about doing anything, it’s about letting your true self out.
You don’t have to eradicate these masks before your true essence surfaces, you simply have to open up to your true essence and the masks will start to fall away. Try not to feel hostile towards the masks as they have served you well in life, love them and see them as a part of you. At the same time, the more you embrace self-compassion, the more you will see just how amazing you really are. This isn’t about ego; it’s about acknowledging your own worth and gifts. It’s time to acknowledge what you wholeheartedly want in your life and to realise that life isn’t just about getting from here to there, it’s about using your gifts, acknowledging your dreams and being happy. Just remember that happiness is a force in its own right that needs to be tended and nurtured in order to flourish…
Seeking out stillness continues to take centre stage throughout August as you contemplate new ways to create more balance and harmony in your life. Your inner light shines brightly and whilst it’s easy to lose sight of this when life gets busy, it’s important for you to connect to this more consciously as this is your guiding light and the source of your creativity and intuition. It’s within this light where your true essence resides and this can illuminate the path ahead with wisdom and courage as you explore pastures new and reach towards your dreams, this takes you into unchartered terrain, but you seem ready for this now. Of course, you have faced the fear of the unknown many times in your life, and you know that it’s only when you step beyond the boundaries of your life where you feel connected and truly alive. In many ways, you need new terrain and new adventures in order to thrive, as charging ahead is often your default setting in life. Yet, there also needs to be time to enjoy the ride and to evolve along the way.
Life isn’t just about the destination, it’s also about every turn, pothole and dead-end along the way as this is where wisdom and insight often reside. When you take the time to savour the journey, you realise that the destination often changes as you are constantly changing and evolving, and you wouldn’t notice this if you were charging ahead. So, take your time and allow yourself to go with the flow of your own evolution, knowing that goals and destinations change. Give yourself the time to adjust and know that a change in destination is a powerful sign that you are not only listening to your intuition, but you are honouring yourself and your true essence as well. Let your light shine brightly and let it lead the way…
There is a powerful air of release and renewal throughout August as you undergo a significant shift in perspective, particularly in connection to your self-beliefs. It’s as though you have re-established a deeper sense of awareness and this is inspiring you to step more consciously into where you are now. You have been so busy with the lives, goals, and whims of others for so long that it seems you have lost sight of where you end and where others begin, and this has pushed you further and further out of balance. It’s only when you pause for a while that you become aware of this, but even then, these pauses are often brief as you are always busy, so the disconnect forms without your being overly aware of it. However, all is not lost, you already know how to rectify this imbalance as you need to prioritise yourself and your own needs, taking the time to breathe deeply and consciously as you re-connect to your intuition and to your sense of self. It’s easy to get lost in the lives of others, particularly when you are such a giving and generous soul, but how can you be your true self when you are scattered in multiple directions trying to be everything to everyone else?
Taking a deep breath and pulling up the drawbridge is sometimes the only way you can re-centre; it doesn’t mean you are forever turning your back on those around you, it simply means you are taking some time to honour yourself more. The winds of change are gathering momentum and it’s time for you to re-define the way in which you live your life. It’s time to draw a line underneath some long-standing chapters as new ones begin; this is a time for endings and beginnings. Of course, this can feel unsettling, but change is an integral part of life, so see it as an opportunity to take a big deep breath…
Your life has been full steam ahead lately, as though someone pressed the fast forward button and forgot to release it again. As a result, everything is happening in the blink of an eye, and little seems to make sense as it’s all moving so fast. Part of you thrives on the speed as it’s allowing your intuition and creativity to spark and thrive, but another part of you wants to press pause for a while. However, there is some trepidation about easing up and pausing in your life as you’ve been there before and when you’ve then tried to move forward again, you have met with some inner resistance as though you’re pulling in more than one direction at the same time and the momentum feels lost. As a result, everything goes out of focus, and you lose some of your drive and energy. Even though previous experiences of pressing pause have created some confusion, is this really a good reason to justify living on fast forward?
Taking a pause is important as it gives you an opportunity to reflect and to reconnect to your purpose, bringing you clarity and a clearer sense of direction. Stop placing yourself under so much pressure to do more, see more and achieve more; it’s time now to be more, and to realise the nourishment that can be found by being wholeheartedly in each and every moment. There is no need to buckle under the weight of things to do, as this alone doesn’t define you: you are much much more than this. Try to let go of the feeling that you need to be superhuman, find the joy in being human and learn to shine the light of compassion within, showing yourself some tenderness. It’s time to wholeheartedly love yourself, to let go of the pressure you place upon your own shoulders and to take a big deep breath of life…
You have been walking a complex path over recent months. On one hand you still try to be everything to everyone, but on the other, you have been finding ways to acknowledge your self-worth and gifts, taking time to focus on your true needs and priorities. You often split yourself in two as you find it hard to cope with the idea of saying ‘No!’ to those around you, but this can leave you feeling overwhelmed as the need to re-connect to your own essence grows stronger by the day. It’s important to realise that this isn’t an ‘either/or’ situation, as you have the skill and tenacity to honour your own needs and still be a support to others; you don’t need to try to outwit yourself, you just need to find a balance. The key to this doesn’t come from over-thinking, it comes from allowing your intuition to lead the way. So instead of feeling like a pinball that’s being tossed around the machine of life, you regain your self-awareness, strength and wisdom enabling you to navigate your way ahead with grace and poise even when life feels chaotic.
Your needs and dreams cannot continue to sit in the backseat of life, they need the room to breathe and expand now. Acknowledging your priorities and embracing your dreams isn’t self-indulgent, it’s vital for you to feel more centred and at peace in life. You matter! It’s time to stop feeling as though your own needs are juxtaposed with everyone else’s and instead know that by honouring your own needs you are finally giving yourself the time and space to be you, and nothing but you. Well, you have always been you, but you can often feel as though you are not sure where you end and where others begin, and it’s important to have a clearer sense of yourself as this will help to guide you forwards towards living more consciously and wholeheartedly on every level of your being…
Finding peace with your true nature has been something of a life-long quest for you. Of course, it is for many people, but for you, acknowledging the need to be at one with your true essence is a powerful intention as it’s a sign that you are no longer pondering who you are and you have instead starting to be who you are. You have spent a great deal of time on the periphery of life, trying to connect to your gifts and trying to gain a clear focus as to where you’re heading and why. Although you’ve always had dreams, there is a sense that most remain with you out of habit rather than conscious choice. In many ways, there is a need for you to wipe the slate clean in order to re-centre and start afresh in order to allow your creativity and intuition to guide you forwards.
Try to let go of preconceived ideas and dreams, and instead be open to a new way of living and being, one that allows you to live more spontaneously and facilitates a simpler, but richer life. The more you open up to finding peace with your true nature, the more you will realise just how spiritual, intuitive, and evolved you are because your true nature is with you now, you just need to turn towards it and embrace it. This doesn’t have to be a complicated process unless you try to over-think it and un-pick it in a quest to understand it as this is beyond comprehension, it’s in the realms of the unknowable. Intuitively you already know that you’re ready to walk a new path in life, and whilst you are at a crossroads with multiple directions, you already know which one to take. Believe in yourself and know that you absolutely have what it takes to explore pastures new on every level of your life…
August looks set to be a month of breakthrough as you continue to shift your awareness towards acknowledging your true priorities. You have spent a great deal of your life trying to be everything to everyone, and this tendency is a habit you will find very difficult to break, but there is a need for you to realise that there is more to life than what you do for those around you. It has been easy for you to overlook your own needs as you have been so busy trying to be the person you felt you ought to be, and whilst this has seen you achieve a great deal, it’s time to listen to your heart and soul to allow your true self the space to flourish and thrive. Of course, knowing your true self and your true priorities will take time as you have spent most of your life overlooking them, but there’s no rush, just a need to set a new intention to turn towards yourself more now. This doesn’t mean you have to ignore those around you, but you do need to realise that you have the power to re-shape the story of your life that will help you to not only facilitate helping those close, but also to acknowledge the passion and creativity in your heart, giving it the space (and love) to be free.
Part of this process inevitably involves sorting the wheat from the chaff when it comes to the things that drain you and the things that nourish you. This isn’t always an easy process, but you seem ready now for positive change. Whilst it’s not always possible to release all of those things that drain you, you can change your relationship with them, creating a more positive and conscious dynamic. It’s time to live your life on your terms, where you set your boundaries and you find new ways of living and being…
As you continue to keep your focus in the here and now, there is a sense that you are finally beginning to connect more consciously to the present moment rather than being scattered throughout time and space in a kaleidoscope of possibilities and directions. There is no doubt that you are able to see way and beyond the boundaries of everyday life, and whilst this is a gift, it also has the potential to leave you tied up in knots as you sense so much at any one moment in time. As a result, you often look backwards, forwards and within, all at the same time, and although this can bring you great insight, it can also leave you feeling confused and bewildered as it can be hard to anchor these insights into the here and now or find context in them. You have reached a stage of your life where the quest for acceptance, compassion and love are now more important than the things you do, see, say, or achieve.
It’s a powerful shift, and one that looks set to define your life for many years to come as you let your free-spirited essence fly free and find ways for your head and your heart to work together in harmony. It’s exciting and it feels liberating, but it’s hard to have clear insight into how this translates into your life as the shape and form hasn’t yet come into being. In a way, the story has yet to be written, but instead of waiting for the story to write itself, it seems you need to write as you go along. Just remember that you thrive in the unknown as this is where you learn the most. Take a deep breath, let go of over-thinking and let your intuition, creativity and courage guide you now as you step into unchartered terrain allowing your heart and soul to find a new harmony…
The journey through life is often a series of roundabout, cul-de-sacs, traffic lights and ring roads, not to mention roadworks and potholes. There are times when you feel like you are being constantly thwarted and irritated by these hold-ups as there are so many, but in reality, they only take up a tiny proportion of your life. Yet, there are times when you feel as though when you take two steps forwards, these setbacks then see you take three steps back, so there’s no wonder you are fed up with it. Of course, in an ideal world you could just glide along at your own pace and in your own way, but life has a habit of creating obstacles and setbacks so it’s up to you to find a way to navigate this and make peace with the ever-changing landscape of life. Yet, it’s undeniably hard to make peace when you feel as though your progress is being thwarted at every turn.
It’s hard to navigate when so many unexpected hiccups occur. However, the more you focus on them, the bigger they become, and this can slowly start to take over your life like ivy on an old building. It’s time to shift your perspective a little in order to step back to see the bigger picture of your life: the wonderful terrain you’ve explored, the majestic views you’ve seen and the magical experiences you’ve had along the way. Of course, focusing on the positive doesn’t eradicate the challenges, but it can help put them into perspective. Life is rarely as straightforward as we would like it to be, but these are the times when you learn the most, so try to look beyond the frustration when you’re sat at those metaphorical traffic lights or when you seem to be going round and around the roundabout. Try to take a deep breath and use your phenomenal wisdom and intuition to see the bigger picture once again.
