Most likely, this intervention by Melania looks like a panic move. Apparently, about 10 hours earlier, Amanda Ungono (the ex-partner of Pazzolini — an influential figure close to Trump and a former associate of Epstein) posted a series of messages on X (since deleted), threatening to expose Melania — with evidence — regarding her and her husband, whom she accuses of being involved in pedophilia. She makes a number of serious allegations.
She and Melania are said to have been close friends with family ties for around 20 years (Amanda was introduced by Epstein as a model when she was 17). Pazzolini allegedly did not accept their separation and is said to have asked Trump and Bondi to use ICE to have her removed. She was arrested at her home, detained for three and a half months in an ICE facility under serious but unproven accusations, and then deported to Brazil.
In Brazil, a court granted her custody of Pazzolini’s child, after which he allegedly abducted the child. The mother, in despair, then issued these threats on X. The fact that she is making threats suggests she may be trying to apply pressure to regain custody of her son, rather than truly “bring down the system,” as she claims. This move was also quite risky, as it makes her a target.
Melania’s reaction — a kind of press conference, reportedly without Donald or the White House being aware — at a time when the Epstein topic had largely faded due to the situation in Iran, also comes across as a desperate and somewhat clumsy attempt at damage control, since it ends up reviving suspicion.
One might also question whether it was wise for Trump and Bondi to do this favor for the Italian-American businessman, if his former partner held potentially compromising information.
Overall, it seems that everyone is acting under pressure.
Meanwhile, Solomon claims that Trump is preparing an operation called “Hypersonic Clarity,” in which a large amount of classified documents would soon be rapidly declassified. If Trump and his circle have a particular talent, it may be this one: repeatedly promising to “drain the swamp” and release classified information.
So what’s the bottom line? During his first term: almost nothing, aside from a few theoretical executive orders. Then he campaigns on “no war” and “Epstein,” and we get a confusing war and a complete reversal on Epstein.
And now we’re told: “This time, it’s really going to happen?”
