Hello,
I don’t have the energy to do a channeling on this, hence I’m just writing this in the normal way, which is significantly easier for me.
I have had short discussions on this topic with galactics and I’m confident enough about the broad strokes to publish it, but I might be getting some details wrong.
As always, use your own discernment.
I’ll be critiquing the Law of One / Ra Material. They’re channelings of the being that calls itself Ra. You can read the material here: https://www.lawofone.info/
I believe that Ra is a dark gray being that was “playing around” and was trying to have several experiences at once:
– Partly genuinely inform us humans.
– Partly have the experience of interacting with humans and seeing what we’d do with the material it gave us.
– Partly harvest us humans for loosh (loosh is the energy that is generated by suffering, which Ra and certain other beings feed off).
In this message I’ll be pointing out how the Law of One is a highly effective loosh farming operation — although I’m only claiming that farming loosh was one of the objectives.
Yes, there is true and genuinely useful information in the Law of One too — but then again, there has to be, or people don’t read it and spread it. It’s often said that evil presents a message that is 95% true so that you believe it, and then slips in 5% bad stuff (e.g. loosh generators).
The overall idea of my argument is:
If I’m late at work once, I can say “sorry, car troubles“ and I probably don’t get into real trouble. If my boss fires me for being late once, the boss is unreasonable.
But if I’m late 30 times, I can’t just say “sorry, car troubles“ 30 times and evade consequences that way. Instead my boss is going to say “there’s a pattern here, you’ve been late 30 times, you’re fired.“
Similarly, if I presented only one way in this essay in which Ra is being suspiciously malevolent, then my essay would be weak and people would be justified to just explain away that one instance.
But what I’ll be doing is showing that Ra is suspiciously malevolent in like 30 ways. And that pattern creates a logical contradiction with Ra being this very carefully communicating being who has mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom who is there to help us.
What Ra defenders might want to do is argue “in all 30 cases there’s a probability p that it’s a coincidence, therefore none of your arguments are valid, therefore you’re wrong.“ However the entire pattern (being late 30 times without there being actual fault) has a combined probability of p ^ 30, which is near 0. (Roughly speaking, I’m being illustrative rather than 100% mathematically airtight here.)
Another layer of the text is the counternarrative: Ra is a loosh harvester. This is an assumption I can make very plausible but can’t 100% prove, hence I have some probability q myself. However that one assumptions explains literally everything and leaves zero logical contradictions. Hence I’m not looking at probability q ^ 30, I’m just looking at q.
Even if you disregard “Ra is a loosh harvester“, you’re still left with “Ra is benevolent” looking at a near-zero probability p ^ 30.
A counterargument might be “Ra being benevolent has just probability p too, not p ^ 30, because we assume that sixth density is so completely different that we don’t understand it (or the channeler was very impure).” Well one, that’s still p ^ 2: Ra is benevolent + sixth density is completely different (or very impure channeler). But also, it’s a near-0 probability that all those coincidences exactly fit a malicious pattern, rather than just being neutral / weird.
If I go to a construction yard and say “these 30 things point to this being a construction yard“, and you argue “it’s not a construction yard, all 30 things are random and explained by the owner just being very weird and we don’t understand him“ then that’s not a strong rebuttal.
Similarly, if John does 30 things that hurt others, then arguing “Jon is just a very weird guy, we don’t understand him“ is a weak defense. If that was considered a valid defense, we could never convict anyone of a crime.
—
During this critique I’ll be pointing out that this one particular part of the Law of One farms loosh, and then fans of the Law of One might be tempted to retort that another claim from the Law of One actually justifies the first part.
However, that is like a Muslim defending one Quran verse by citing another Quran verse. Yes, that’s convincing to believers, but that argument only works if you assume that the text is true — and if you assume that the text is true, then obviously it’s easy to prove that the text is true, but that’s circular logic.
So if I critique one part of the Law of One, then you can’t fully parry that argument by citing another part of the Law of One, because then effectively you’re assuming that the text is true and using that to prove that the text is true.
So, let’s get to it.
What are the necessary components of a loosh farming operation? Well, here’s the first one:
1) Revelation of the Method
If you’re a dark gray being who is just obviously trying to violate people’s free will, then powerful light beings will stop you.
To avoid that, you have to do “Revelation of the method”, where you tell people in advance that you’re going to harm them. Then if they don’t object, you can go ahead with your loosh harvesting because they “consented” and free will is respected.
A famous example of “revelation of the method” is the Christian god declaring that he is the shepherd — and shepherds eat their sheep, i.e. humans. (The Christian god has recently been uncreated but was malevolent. Jesus / Yeshua is an amazing master and isn’t secretly evil.)
Similarly to the “shepherd” warning, Ra says that humans will undergo the harvest i.e. will be harvested. In other words, humans are something like wheat, or some other crop, and the harvest will come.
Does wheat benefit from being harvested?
Obviously, it does not. A harvest is something that kills the wheat (i.e. us) for the benefit of the one doing the harvesting.
Harvest doesn’t benefit the wheat.
(Yes, Ra explains how harvest benefits the wheat — but you can’t assume that Ra is moral and truthful about how the universe works, and then use that assumption to prove that Ra is moral and truthful. You can’t prove one Quran verse by citing another Quran verse.)
So, why does Ra say we will be “harvested”? Why not call it an “ascension” or “liberation” or “expansion” or “upliftment“, etc?
You can’t say this is just a slip of the tongue because Ra uses the term “harvest” repeatedly. Plus Ra is such a precise communicator that it insists on using “Mind/Body/Spirit Complex” rather than “person” because it’s more accurate. So this is a being that very carefully chooses its words, and it has mastered love/understand and light/wisdom. And it repeatedly chooses to say that we will be harvested.
Even if we rationally think the harvest is a good thing, doesn’t matter — our subconscious is still scared and generates loosh. In fact, Ra satisfying our rational mind while scaring our subconscious is a feature of the loosh farm, not a bug.
Plus, this is the Revelation of the method. Ra is a loosh harvester and it tells us we will be harvested:
- If we stop reading, it can’t implant its loosh generating ideas into our mind (which we’ll discuss in the next section). This is fine: we didn’t consent, and indeed we’re not harmed. Ra doesn’t violate our free will.
- If we keep reading the words of a being who openly says we will be harvested, then we “consent“ to being harvested. Ra doesn’t violate our free will.
On top of this being “Revelation of the method”, it also puts people in an unempowered state of mind to tell them that they’re “Mind/Body/Spirit Complex” resources who are awaiting the harvest, with no way to measure progress. And yes, language matters: your subconscious is affected by which words are used.
So, Revelation of the method — check. What other components are needed for loosh farming?
2) Loosh generators
A potent Christian loosh generator is: “if you fail to be a good enough person, you will burn forever in hell, and you have no way to track your progress.”
2a) A Law of One loosh generator is: “you either polarize negatively towards service-to-self, or positively towards service-to-others. You have no way to track your progress. If you fail to polarize sufficiently to one side, you will spend another 25000 years experiencing third density (your current density) and hence experience 25000 years of suffering.” On a rational level that’s not the same as hell, but on an emotional level it feels close to it — and this generates loosh and influences behavior.
Even if Ra says a system (25000 more years in third density) or a term (harvest) isn’t actually malevolent or bad for humans — well it can still produce fear on an emotional level. Which creates loosh and influences behavior, no matter what the rational mind thinks.
Ra feeds and pleases and satisfies the rational mind, while scaring the subconscious and emotional mind. That’s not a bug in the loosh farm — it’s a feature, because it keeps people subconsciously scared yet rationally engaged.
2b) Another Law of One loosh generator is that your loved ones (your wife, your father, your children) probably are going to “hell.” Which clearly produces suffering and therefore loosh, no matter how hard your rational mind thinks that it’s fine for people to “repeat their lessons.” That explanation satisfies the rational mind, but loosh is still created.
2c) Another Law of One loosh generator is: the negative polarity is “service-to-self” and the positive polarity is “service-to-others”. This implies that self-care is negative: if you try to be a good person but you do too much self-care, you may fail to polarize sufficiently and you may go to “hell.” Telling someone that self-care may send them to hell (and they have no way of measuring progress) is a potent way to make people anxious and undernourished.
Again, Ra claims to be this super advanced being who has mastered love/understanding. It insists on using “Mind/Body/Spirit Complex” rather than “person” because it wants to communicate very carefully. So then you can’t say that it was just a minor clumsy oversight for Ra to imply that self care is bad by saying that “service to self” is the negative polarity.
Even using a binary of “service to all” versus “service to self” is a lot better than Ra’s binary of “service to others” versus “service to self.” Because “all” includes you, so that way you’re not being nudged to neglect and martyr yourself. Okay, so then why did this sixth density being who has mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom, and who communicates super carefully, repeatedly say “service to self”?
In Ra’s worldview, if you try to walk the positive path, meditation isn’t a good thing. Why? Because it’s clearly “service to self”, which is the negative polarity, which can land you in “hell” if you do too much of it while trying to be good. Of course that’s an insane statement to make, but that is what Ra is implying.
Under the “Ra is benevolent” view, this is a logical contradiction.
Under the “Ra is a loosh harvester” view, this is by design: saying “service to self” nudges people to neglect and martyr themselves, thus creating loosh.
Or even better, Ra could not present “service to others” versus “service to self” as a binary at all, because it implies that others and you are separate, which imposes separation consciousness on the reader.
Why would this super carefully communicating entity that claims to primarily care about the oneness of everything then impose a “you vs others” separation consciousness binary on you?
Under the “Ra is benevolent” view, this is a logical contradiction.
Under the “Ra is a loosh harvester” view, this is by design: people in separation consciousness generate more loosh.
And if you want to argue “but that’s just how the universe works“: is it? Yes according to Ra it is, but you’re assuming that Ra is truthful and then using that to prove that Ra is truthful. It’s proving one Quran verse with another Quran verse. It’s assuming that 3 = 2 and then using that to prove 2 = 3.
Even if we grant that that’s how the universe works: Ra talks endlessly about service to self versus service to others, and then mentions once or twice that self-care is valid. Okay, then “service to all“ would have been a more accurate term to use than “service to others“ — and it’s also a less harmful term because it doesn’t encourage self-neglect and separation-consciousness.
Hence, Ra insistence on using “service to others“ is a contradiction with Ra being this super carefully communicating being who has mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom.
This isn’t a minor point. This is an inexplicable, actively harmful, unneeded flaw in the core of Ra’s philosophy.
This being who has mastered understanding and wisdom and who claims to primarily care about oneness… “accidentally” and needlessly promotes separation-consciousness in its core philosophy. Does that make sense to you?
On the other hand, if Ra is a loosh harvester, everything makes perfect sense.
2d) Another Law of One loosh generator is the message that you will go to “hell” unless you create loosh for it via either the negative polarity (where you harm others and create loosh) or via the positive polarity (where you avoid “service to self” and hence neglect and martyr yourself, and so you create loosh). So you can choose to generate loosh for Ra via A or B, either is valid, but if you generate no loosh for it then you go to “hell.” And Ra doesn’t give you any other options besides generate loosh or go to “hell.”
Note that a normal person who hasn’t studied Law of One would say that the middle path between serving others and serving yourself is in fact healthy and well-adjusted. Whereas Ra labels that as the path that sends you to “hell.”
Ra is running a rigged shell game. In a rigged shell game, the ball is supposedly under one of three cups, and you win if you point to the right cup. But in reality, the ball is in the scammer’s hand, and you’ll lose no matter which cup you point to.
Similarly, Ra says: “choose positive polarity; negative polarity; or the sinkhole of indifference, which is neither positive nor negative, and which sends you to “hell.”” The reader thinks they’re being clever by choosing the positive polarity cup and thinking they’ll go to “heaven“ (4th density positive) that way. But it’s all a scam: pick positive and create loosh via self-neglect and martyrdom, pick negative and create loosh by hurting others, or pick the sinkhole of indifference cup and you might still create some loosh through the fear that you’ll go to “hell.”
2e) Another loosh generator is: “if something painful happens to you, that’s a catalyst, and if you don’t want to go to “hell” you should probably use it for growth.” This bulldozes the parts of us that don’t like it when painful or bad things happen to us. And if for example someone’s wife leaves him and he’s doing clearly worse than before, that man now feels extra guilty because he’s “not using the catalyst” and may fail the harvest and go to hell.
2f) Another loosh generator is: “if something painful happens to someone else, good, it’s a catalyst they can use to stay out of “hell.”“ This makes the Law of One reader less compassionate (which ironically increases the reader’s chances to go to “hell.”)
2g) Another loosh generator is: “if society is really painful and challenging, good, then people have lots of catalysts with which they can stay out of “hell.”“ Again, this makes the Law of One reader less compassionate, which ironically increases their chances to go to “hell.”
Interesting how a being who supposedly mastered the density of love now teaches people to be uncompassionate about suffering. Compare that to actual masters who do talk about compassion.
And if you want to argue “but Ra is just telling us the truth, which is compassionate” — whether Ra tells the truth about how the universe works is one part of the discussion. You can’t assume Ra’s truth-telling to then prove Ra’s truth-telling.
I think it’s common sense that some amount of challenges / pain / catalyst can produce growth, but too much pain / challenges just breaks people — and those people need actual help, not be left alone with their “catalyst.” Which is something that Ra doesn’t discuss, which is very strange if Ra is a super advanced being who has mastered love. But it’s very logical if Ra is a loosh harvester.
2h) Another loosh generator is presenting the Orion Group as entities that don’t just theoretically exist, but that can and do perform devastating attacks on humans. This generates fear. Plus, if bad things happen, that’s not Ra’s fault, that is the Orion Group’s fault.
2i) Another loosh generator is that the density system implies that if you’re a human, then you’re third density and by definition you can’t have mastered love/understanding (4th density positive) or light/wisdom (5th density positive). So Ra is implicitly saying that by definition you’re not good enough.
2j) Another loosh generator is that the density system implies that non-evil extraterrestrials must have mastered love/understanding, which creates false expectations of non-evil extraterrestrials being perfectly loving.
2k) Another loosh generator is that providing a needlessly complex text (as I’ll argue shortly) will make some people fail to understand it and feel stupid — which is especially stressful because not understanding the text may mean going to “hell” for 25000 years (conveniently, that claim is easy to understand).
2l) Another loosh generator is that Ra says there is a deadline for the harvest, and it’s close, but Ra doesn’t say what that deadline is. Ra also says you must polarize 51% positive or 95% negative to get harvested, but again Ra doesn’t give a way to measure your polarization. This keeps people disempowered and anxious and focused on a possible future “heaven” or “hell”, which makes people far less happy than if they actually focused on the present.
So, those are 12 loosh generators that get installed into your mind if you choose to read the words of a being who says you will get harvested.
Another part of running a loosh farming operation is:
3) Keep the humans on the farm (i.e. engaged with the Ra material)
Partly this is achieved by the Ra material being genuinely interesting and containing some genuinely true information — as the bible does.
Partly this is achieved by “Ra loves you and wants to help you”, similarly to how the Christian god makes that same claim. (Ra claims to have mastered the density of love.)
Partly this is achieved by the Ra material being 1000 pages of very complicated material. And to really understand the text you have to read those 1000 pages multiple times, which keeps people on the loosh farm.
It’s so complicated that it took one youtuber 42 videos to explain the Law of One: https://www.youtube.com/
But the text is not just complicated — it’s needlessly complex. For example, Ra calls people “Mind/Body/Spirit Complexes.” That’s just making the text longer and harder to read for no real gain (except if the goal is keeping people engaged, rather than actually helping them).
A professor (Ra) wouldn’t use highly technical jargon when teaching a child (us) because that jargon is “more accurate.” Instead, the professor would drop the jargon and use simple language — especially if failing to understand the material would mean the child probably spends 25000 years in “hell.”
Giving people 1000 pages of needlessly complex material forces them to be in their head, which takes them away from spiritual practice, or from being in their heart and practically helping others. Which is the thing that actually saves them from “hell” according to Ra.
So the text that this “I have mastered love” entity gives us isn’t well calibrated for saving us from “hell” because it’s needlessly complex and very long. Which is a logical contradiction if you think Ra is benevolent, but it’s by design if Ra is malevolent.
Compare Ra’s 1000 pages of needlessly complex material with how actual masters communicate. They don’t give 1000 pages of needlessly complex material. Instead they give simple, highly useful instructions, such as:
“Just notice breath”
“Be compassionate”
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”
“Love thy neighbor”
“When hungry, eat. When tired, sleep.”
“Before enlightenment chop wood and carry water, after enlightenment chop wood and carry water.”
“Who are you?” or “Who is the one observing these thoughts?”
If Ra was an actually benevolent and super advanced being, it would give some kind of instruction like this — and it would be an eye-opening quote that even non-Law of One readers would know because it would be so universally useful and so widely spread.
Third density humans have produced the quotes above. So then surely a sixth density being could give a mindblowing quote of at least this level… right? So why hasn’t Ra done so?
Notice that there isn’t any single line in Law of One that’s highly useful and self-contained like this, and that leads to spiritual breakthroughs. Yes, there’s plenty of stuff that feeds the rational mind, but that just keeps people away from the heart and meditation cushion.
Law of One is a system that nudges you to study more Law of One — rather than nudging you to go sit and breathe, or practically helping someone.
Someone might argue that Law of One is like a Zen Koan. However Zen Koans are short, easily understandable paradoxes meant to “break” the logical mind and stop it from thinking, because there’s no solution. Whereas Law of One teases that there is a rational solution, you just need to think more about the 1000 pages of incredibly complex material.
Ra is allowed to give spiritual techniques, and does — but it gives either things that are known already, or things that are only moderately useful at best. There’s no amazing Law of One technique that spiritual people the world over are practicing because it’s so effective at cultivating spiritual growth.
To illustrate, let me quote https://www.lawofone.info/s/5 and you can tell me if the following is an instruction that helps you actually go out there and help people:
“Questioner: We have decided to accept, if offered, the honor/duty of learning/teaching the healing process. I would ask as to the first step which we should accomplish in becoming effective healers.
Ra: I am Ra. We shall begin with the first of the three teachings/learnings.
We begin with the mental learn/teachings necessary for contact with intelligent infinity. The prerequisite of mental work is the ability to retain silence of self at a steady state when required by the self. The mind must be opened like a door. The key is silence.
Within the door lies an hierarchical construction you may liken unto geography and in some ways geometry, for the hierarchy is quite regular, bearing inner relationships.
To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.
The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smoothes part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders.
The third discipline of the mind is a repetition of the first but with the gaze outward towards the fellow entities that it meets. In each entity there exists completeness. Thus, the ability to understand each balance is necessary. When you view patience, you are responsible for mirroring in your mental understanding, patience/impatience. When you view impatience, it is necessary for your mental configuration of understanding to be impatience/patience. We use this as a simple example. Most configurations of mind have many facets, and understanding of either self polarities, or what you would call other-self polarities, can and must be understood as subtle work.
The next step is the acceptance of the other-self polarities, which mirrors the second step.
These are the first four steps of learning mental discipline. The fifth step involves observing the geographical and geometrical relationships and ratios of the mind, the other mind, the mass mind, and the infinite mind.
The second area of learn/teaching is the study/understanding of the body complexes. It is necessary to know your body well. This is a matter of using the mind to examine how the feelings, the biases, what you would call the emotions, affect various portions of the body complex. It shall be necessary to both understand the bodily polarities and to accept them, repeating in a chemical/physical manifestation the work you have done upon the mind bethinking the consciousness.
The body is a creature of the mind’s creation. It has its biases. The biological bias must be first completely understood and then the opposite bias allowed to find full expression in understanding. Again, the process of acceptance of the body as a balanced, as well as polarized, individual may then be accomplished.
It is then the task to extend this understanding to the bodies of the other-selves whom you will meet. The simplest example of this is the understanding that each biological male is female; each biological female is male. This is a simple example. However, in almost every case wherein you are attempting the understanding of the body of self or other-self, you will again find that the most subtle discernment is necessary in order to fully grasp the polarity complexes involved.
At this time we would suggest closing the description until the next time of work so that we may devote time to the third area commensurate with its importance.”
So. Do you now feel that you are well-equipped to become an effective healer? Are you ready to walk up to someone and offer them a healing session?
Or is this just a recipe to get you spinning your wheels for a long time?
In fact, this instruction could make someone neurotically monitor and obsessively try to “balance” their own thoughts, and actually create more loosh that way. I think Ra’s “balancing” instructions leads to more monkey-mind, not less.
It raises red flags in my mind that allegedly many humans are about to go to “hell” for 25000 years, and a human explicitly asked Ra for how humans can become better healers. And Ra, this being who has mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom, gives them an instruction that’s just not useful (except for the parts that are known already; “do inner work” and “impatient people should practice patience“ is useful but they’re not novel insights).
I could walk up to a random energy healer and he or she would give a much more useful instruction on how to be a healer than Ra did. And that energy healer is a third density human, while Ra claims to be a carefully communicating sixth density being who has mastered the densities of love/understanding and light/wisdom.
And don’t tell me that the only way to become an effective healer is to first go through the process that Ra prescribes. Anyone can take a Quantum Touch course (a flavor of energy healing I like) and in two days become an effective healer who is genuinely able to help people. And Quantum Touch was developed by a puny third density human, so there’s no excuse for it being more useful than Ra’s sixth density instruction.
Ra is talking to beings who are about to go to “hell” for 25000 years and who are explicitly asking how they can be healers. A being who claims to have mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom would give them practically useful instructions, not a highly complex academic lecture.
Part of Ra’s instruction was: The fifth step involves observing the geographical and geometrical relationships and ratios of the mind, the other mind, the mass mind, and the infinite mind.”
I think that’s simply nonsense.
Even if you think that’s a great fifth step towards becoming a healer: it’s still explained in a way that humans can’t use it. Which is a logical contradiction with Ra being a super carefully communicating being who has mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom. Especially given the “hell“ stakes.
And if you want to argue “but what’s shared is useful, just not for healing“… Ra’s fifth step isn’t useful against the backdrop of “hell.” Plus Ra explicitly says that it’s bound to answer what’s asked, and here Ra effectively dodges the question and gives a philosophical lecture instead. Which contradicts its point that he’s bound to answer what’s asked. (Or if you want to argue he doesn’t dodge the question: okay, then it’s a contradiction with “hell“ stakes and Ra having mastered light/understanding and love/wisdom.)
Yet again, the “Ra is benevolent“ theory creates a logical contradiction.
However things make perfect sense under the “Ra is a loosh harvester“ theory. Of course Ra responds with an instruction that’s interesting enough to keep people engaged, yet not useful enough to actually reduce suffering.
4) By its fruits you shall know the tree
Certainly the Law of One provides knowledge, and is interesting, and feeds the rational mind. But does it make people more compassionate? Or does it make people say: “if someone else suffers, they’re just experiencing a catalyst?”
People who’ve read the Law of One material may argue that it was beneficial, and yes, it does contain genuine knowledge — but aren’t they just feeling an ego boost / pride boost from being one of the few who understands 1000 pages of highly complex material?
While yes, people are different, I think that someone who reads “A Course in Miracles” or any number of other books will likely have a larger boost of consciousness than someone who reads and rereads the thousand pages of The Law of One.
Also:
- Ra’s channeler, Carla Rueckert: serious illness
- Ra’s primary questioner, Don Elkins: decline and then committed suicide
- Ra’s biggest promoter, David Wilcock: decline and then committed suicide. (Thanks, StarDude144 for pointing this out; I didn’t realize this when I started writing this essay. I don’t know if or how the material affected David, but this is still a data point that fits the pattern. Rest in peace, David.)
“By its fruits you shall know the tree”, indeed.
If all the people who engage closest with an entity (Ra) have horrible outcomes, we usually conclude that it’s a bad entity. Right?
Under the “Ra is a loosh harvester“ theory, decline and death is exactly what you would expect to see. The observations fit the theory.
Under the “Ra is benevolent“ theory, the observations contradict the theory, so you have to add more assumptions or ad-hoc justifications:
- “Well Carla was attacked by an Orion entity.“ (Why couldn’t Ra have protected her, or taught her protection techniques, or told her “I’m going to stop talking to you now because it’s no longer safe for you?“)
- “Well Don declined and then committed suicide because talking to a sixth-density entity is so intense.“ (Wait, shouldn’t contact with a being who has mastered love be nourishing rather than destructive? And why didn’t Ra tell Don how he could take care of himself?)
- “Well David was assassinated by the cabal / David’s death had nothing to do with the Law of one.” (That’s yet another assumption, plus David was clearly declining before his death. Why would a scholar of the teachings of a great benevolent teacher decline at all?)
And while yes, some Law of One students report positive benefits, there are also a whole lot of Law of One students reporting various states of unwellness. That’s quite common, and also not really consistent with the “Ra is a great benevolent teacher“ idea.
“The purpose of a system is what it does.” What the Law of One did was leave the people most involved with it seriously ill or committing suicide. Which is very consistent with the idea that Ra is a loosh harvester, and contradictory to the idea that Ra is a great benevolent teacher.
If a spiritual school produced “serious illness, decline => suicide, decline => suicide“ for the most involved people then the school would be shut down. Saying “well I think that that person’s suicide wasn’t caused by the school“ wouldn’t save the school.
In Christianity, you also have two negative entities playing good-cop-bad-cop (namely the Christian god and Satan). Here, you have two (mostly) negative entities playing good-cop-bad-cop (namely Ra and the Orion group attacker).
Ra behaves like an archetypical demon: he gives you an extremely precisely worded contract (the Law of One), which looks beneficial on the surface. However if you sign the contract, i.e. if you keep reading the text of a being who openly says you’re going to get harvested, then indeed you get harvested. As Carla, Don and David were.
5) Other suspicious parts
5a) Nature is full of symmetry and mathematical elegance. Meanwhile Ra claims that the criteria for being harvested are… 51% positive or 95% negative polarization. Those numbers are very non-symmetrical and non-elegant, hence they’re probably not the actual numbers / laws by which nature operates.
Genuine spiritual truths are often echoed by wisdom from ancient cultures. And ancient cultures didn’t say “you should aim to become a pretty good person, or extremely evil, either is fine; but the middle path is bad.”
However, these numbers make perfect sense for a loosh harvest, because average people think 51% positive is doable, and so they’re nudged into self-sacrifice and not meeting their needs (that’s “service to self” and hence “negative”). Which generates loosh. Plus non-self-caring subjects are easier to control.
And 95% negative pushes evil people into becoming absolute monsters for maximum loosh harvesting.
You could even see 51% / 95% as industrial quotas / KPIs for the loosh harvest. 95% isn’t an elegant law of nature; it’s just what some hard-nosed industrialist thinks will lead to a good output.
5b) Ra talks about how the person torturing others is walking an entirely valid path… while not talking about how the person being tortured might get their free will limited in practice by the trauma. A person getting tortured sometimes just gets broken and in practice gets robbed of their chance to polarize. Getting irrecoverably broken isn’t a “valuable catalyst”, it’s in practice a trampling of someone else’s free will. An actual being who had mastered the density of love (as Ra claims to have done) would at the very least discuss this.
5c) Ra claims to have mastered the densities of love/understanding and light/wisdom. But does it really talk like that? To me it sounds more like a detached, morally-gray-at-best professor, not like an ascendant light being who has fully mastered love. Where’s the compassion?
5d) Ra says in https://www.lawofone.info/s/3: “There is a law which we believe to be one of the more significant primal distortions of the Law of One. That is the Law of Confusion. You have called this the Law of Free Will.” Theoretically this works but words matter: saying that the law of free will is the law of confusion sort of slanders free will on an association / subconscious level. If you’re trying to help beings who are facing a potential 25000 years of suffering… why put that “free will = confusion” association in people’s heads?
Again, this is the being who is so precise with language that it insists on saying “Mind/Body/Spirit Complex” rather than “person.” That’s the same being who is saying that the law of free will equals the law of confusion, and that free will is a distortion.
If you want to argue “but that’s just how the universe works”: yes… according to Ra. This is defending one Quran verse with another Quran verse.
Also, notice the pattern that we’re seeing: this “I mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom“ being keeps using language that is loosh-generating / sabotaging. It’s not one instance, it’s a pattern:
- saying humans will be harvested (citing industrial KPI-like numbers)
- needless complexity: “Mind/Body/Spirit Complex” instead of person
- dehumanizing language: “Mind/Body/Spirit Complex” instead of person
- service to self excluding self-care and meditation (why not “service to all“?)
- service to self vs service to others being a separation-consciousness binary, despite oneness being the ultimate goal
- “sinkhole of indifference“ to nudge people away from the least-loosh-farming middle path in between service to self and service to others. Which is the path that most people and ancient culture consider healthy.
- the material being 1000 pages
- “all catalyst is good” framing limiting compassion and inducing stress
- giving useless instructions when explicitly asked how to be a healer
- law of free will = law of confusion
- law of free will is a distortion
- detached, clinical, compassionless tone
5e) If you believe that Ra is a very powerful being and that channelings are real… then how come Ra is the only being who needs physical materials to be set up in a highly specific, carefully calibrated way in order to be able to communicate? Why are other beings able to talk to channelers just fine without physical materials being set up in a specific way, but Ra isn’t?
5f) Ra says it can’t interfere, but then it gives some moderately useful techniques which clearly is interference. Ra is very carefully interfering just enough to make the material interesting, but not enough to actually reduce suffering on Earth. If Ra was legit, it would either not give any instructions at all (but it does, see section 3), or it would give instructions that are highly useful (but it doesn’t, see section 3).
5g) Ra is effectively saying: “yeah, so you and all your loved ones are quite possibly going to suffer for 25000 years soon. I could give you actually useful tips to prevent that… but nah. Here’s a thousand pages of needlessly complex material that doesn’t actually help you stay out of “hell.” You’ve asked me how to become a healer? Here are some highly complex, mostly useless instructions. I’ve graduated the density of love, by the way, can’t you feel my love?”
5h) Why would a very carefully communicating being who has mastered love/understanding and light/wisdom create a text that is indistinguishable from a highly effective, expertly disguised loosh harvesting operation?
6) Discussion
I reiterate the “The overall idea of my argument“ paragraphs at the very start of my essay: any individual point could maybe be explained away as a coincidence, but the combined pattern is overwhelming evidence.
Note that the following arguments don’t work to address the logical holes I’ve pointed to:
6a) Using one Quran verse to justify another Quran verse.
6b) Saying “the harvest isn’t bad; you’re misinterpreting what the harvest is; 25000 more years in third density isn’t bad; Ra says somewhere that self-care is good.” This is all rationally true under Ra’s framework. However it’s still emotionally and subconsciously painful that your loved ones will suffer for 25000 years, which generates loosh and influences behavior. Ra satisfies your rational mind, while farming loosh by scaring you emotionally / subconsciously. That’s not a bug in the loosh farming, it’s a feature.
6c) Claiming “lots of people benefitted from the text.“ One, there’s a lot of Ra students reporting unwellness too. Two, if this was a valid defense, then no cult could be convicted of wrong-doing. Third, bad texts / organizations need some genuinely good stuff, otherwise it doesn’t spread and the cult has zero members. Plus consider that “other people’s suffering is a useful catalyst” may have made you less compassionate.
6d) Saying “Law of One resonates with me.” The thought that you’re one of the elite few who understands this highly complex material is far more emotionally appealing than the thought that you’ve been tricked for years by a loosh harvester. This can skew “what resonates” for you.
6e) Saying “Ra never forces anyone; people choose to read the material.” By that logic, any scam or cult or consent violation or assault is justified if you drop a vague hint and the other person doesn’t immediately walk away.
6f) Saying “everything that happens is automatically for people’s highest good / their soul agreed to it.” This plus free will creates a contradiction: free will says that I can choose to run you over with a car, or not do that. Hence I can choose to do something that’s better for you, or worse for you (regardless of which option is the better one). Hence things that happen don’t automatically happen for the highest good of all involved / for a soul contract. Divine will happens, but it unfolds on the macro scale, not the micro scale.
6g) Saying “the difference in densities / flaws in the channeler seriously distorted the message.“ If the text just had random errors, okay, maybe. But what’s the probability that a benevolent text got distorted into precisely a highly effective, expertly disguised loosh harvesting operation? And why did Ra never say “by the way, there was a miscommunication during our last channeling“?

Interestingly, occam’s razor also favors my theory over the “scientific“ view that the Law of One material wasn’t channeled at all, but was made up consciously or subconsciously.
After all, I only need one assumption: “harvesting entities exist.“
To get the same explanatory power, the “scientific“ it’s-made-up view needs:
- One assumption for how a made-up text (Law of One) can be so brilliantly constructed, and can align so well with certain gnostic or occult patterns.
- One assumption for how a made-up text can remain so internally consistent (at least on the surface) over a period of 1000 pages and several years.
- One assumption for the striking “coincidence“ why a text made up by non-evil people “accidentally“ becomes a highly effective, expertly disguised suffering-inducing text. (Alternatively, one assumption that Carla and Dan intentionally created a suffering-inducing text.)
- One assumption for why stories keep warning about cursed books that contain knowledge yet that also harm you. (My theory explains that: Ra is a harvesting entity that created the Law of One, which is a literal “cursed book“ that gives you knowledge yet also harms you.)
- One assumption for why Carla became seriously ill
- One assumption for why Dan declined and then committed suicide
- One assumption for why David declined and then committed suicide
- One assumption why one group of people kept talking about archons
- One assumption why another group of people kept talking about demons and their tendency to offer appealing, very carefully worded contracts that contain hidden traps. (Ra is the literal or metaphorical demon, and reading the Law of One means signing the contract.)
- One assumption why modern spiritual people keep talking about energetic parasites / dark entity attacks.
- There’s probably 10+ more cultures that also describe harvesting entities. My “harvesting entities exist“ theory automatically explains that; the “scientific” view needs to add 10+ more assumptions to deal with 10+ more cultures discussing such entities.
- If harvesting entities don’t exist, then cultures that hallucinated them and wasted energy and resources fighting those entities would have been outcompeted by cultures that didn’t. Yet many successful cultures independently believed in harvesting entities, e.g. many Americans believe in demons.
In science, if one theory explains everything using 1 assumption, while another theory explains everything using 10+ assumptions… you strongly lean towards the “one assumption“ theory.
So, I’ve made it quite plausible that other entities exist and channeling is real — but with a loosh harvester, not with a beautiful nordic extraterrestrial woman in a skin-tight suit.
It’s not that nobody’s out there. It’s that something’s out there, and it’s hungry.

Of course, I still believe the Pleiadians are out there too — but part of the reason for the whole idea that they’re basically all ascended masters is that Ra’s density system strongly suggests that they’ve all mastered love/understanding.
If Law of One is a loosh harvesting operation… then that’s not necessarily true. Pleiadians could be more flawed, more human than is commonly believed. And indeed, I think they are.
Pleiadians are still loving and spiritually evolved, but they’re not a race of ascended masters.
Furthermore, the whole idea that large amounts of societal suffering are useful catalysts also comes from the Ra material, and that idea is now also suspect. Now yes, some amount of challenges can clearly help people grow, but personally I think most people are deeply in “so much pain and problems that it’s counterproductive” territory.
Without the Ra assumptions, there’s no guarantee that the Pleiadian decision to not yet land / intervene is actually correct. It could be just a character defect on their end — or it could be a genuinely very close call, where their decision is defensible but where the intervention decision would be defensible too. I know some people don’t like that idea, but I think some people are just emotionally over-attached to the idea of Pleiadians being near-perfect.
This shows how impactful the Ra material has been — and how much it’s potentially distorted the mental map of the spiritual community, and possibly of the gray hats.
7) How to protect yourself from negative entities
You can prevent attacks from negative non-human entities by just saying something like the following. Feel free to change the wording as you see fit:
“I am not attacked or interfered with by negative entities, now and in the future. I’m asking wise and benevolent beings, forces and aspects of existence to help with this, all in accordance with the highest divine blueprint, thank you, now now now.”
That works, with the following footnotes:
– if it’s in accordance with the highest divine blueprint that you in fact are attacked or interfered with once or twice… that can still happen, perhaps to teach you a critical lesson. However I’d be very surprised if constant attacks on a lightworker were in accordance with the highest divine blueprint.
– your soul can still decide that you should have experiences that you may interpret as being negative. It may be in accordance with the highest divine blueprint for you to have those.
– you can still manifest things that you may perceive as being negative — whether via your conscious mind, your emotions or your subconscious.
– you can still have “negative” thoughts or emotions that simply come from yourself or from the painful world around you.
– this doesn’t protect you from bad humans.
With all my love,
A.S.
