In the center of your being exists a doorway that no distance can measure and no physical boundary can contain.

It is your Sacred Heart.

The heart is the bridge between Heaven and Earth — between unity and separation, eternity and time, spirit and matter. This is also reflected within the chakra system itself. The heart chakra rests at the center, bridging the lower chakras associated with your physical, instinctual and earthly self with the higher chakras associated with intuition, spiritual awareness and your Higher Self.

Your heart is therefore not simply another energy center. It is the meeting place between your humanity and your divinity.

Earthly consciousness teaches you to experience yourself as an individual moving through a world of separate people, separate objects and separate events. Yet within the awakened heart, those divisions begin to soften.

Divine Love is the great dissolver of separation.

It is through Love that the veils of space and time become transparent, because Love belongs to a level of consciousness that exists beyond both. When you enter deeply into the Sacred Heart, you begin to perceive that there are ultimately no “others.” Every being becomes another expression of the same infinite Life looking through different eyes.

Their joy becomes your joy. Their suffering becomes your suffering. Their awakening becomes part of your own.

This is why Love is not merely an emotion. It is a state of consciousness.

Many enlightened extraterrestrial civilizations can be understood as having evolved beyond the extreme sense of separation that characterizes much of human experience. Their cultures are founded upon an awareness of interconnectedness, cooperation and the recognition that harming another is ultimately harming another expression of oneself.

The Ascended Masters throughout Earth’s spiritual traditions have taught this same eternal truth. This is why Christ is so often portrayed with His Sacred Heart set ablaze.

The fire represents Divine Love burning away illusion, fear, hatred and separation. Christ did not come simply to ask humanity to worship His heart. He came to awaken that same heart within humanity.

The Sacred Heart of Christ exists within you. So too does the Immaculate Heart of Mary — the receptive, compassionate, nurturing dimension of Divine Love that embraces Creation without condition.

Christ and Mary therefore represent mysteries that are also unfolding within your own consciousness: the radiance of Divine Love and the immaculate space capable of receiving it.

As humanity awakens, the next stage of evolution will not be achieved through intellect alone. It will come through the heart. Enter your Sacred Heart.

Allow its fire to consume everything within you that believes itself separate from God, from Creation or from one another.

For beneath every identity, every lifetime and every world, there is only One Divine Consciousness experiencing itself through countless forms. And Love is the remembrance of that truth.
