What personal signs of a higher consciousness have you noticed?
Quote from Michi 33 on 11/08/2026, 10:09 AMThis year has been especially disheartening to many. There is personal progress, then there are setbacks, and just as our circumstances can be best described as this …
… somebody drops another “You’re collectively doing great! 🥰” channeled message … You know how it is.
To feel less in stagnation, to find some “proof” that we in fact are making progress in our development, I like to look out for signs that might indicate a slightly higher consciousness in myself.
This can be completely random, but usually it’s when I look back and realise that I suddenly understand something I didn’t get a couple of years ago. Or I look at something and go “Huh? Has this detail always been there? Has this always been this colour? Since when does it have [attribute]? How BLIND have I been that I didn’t notice that???”
Generally suddenly perceiving something I did not (consciously) perceive before. And I don’t just mean mindfulness, I’ve been practicing mindfulness for a long time—this also happens with things I’ve already been very mindful about. It can even be a dysfunctional behavioural pattern and suddenly I see the root cause and how to overcome it. Anything. The most random things.
And one sign of a slightly higher consciousness / perceiving things I didn’t notice before I really enjoy is: Music! I listen to old songs and feel like I bought new headphones even though I didn’t—songs sound different because suddenly I hear nuances in the background! 😳 You know, tiny sounds your brain usually ignores unless you know it’s there and focus on it. A brief “aah” background chorus. Bells or clacks of drumsticks that accompany the regular beat. Even with songs I was so sure I had figured out fully because I used to listen to them on repeat for hours—suddenly I hear things I simply did not perceive before, no matter how closely I listened to it.
So. Maybe you also experience something like that. In case you do, this is the place to write about it! Let’s celebrate every tiny bit of progress we notice 😁
