Spiritual Reflections

we are now in the era of light eraoflightdotcomRecently, I pulled a card that said, “No matter how hard your life is, someone else’s life is harder. Give thanks for what you have and more blessings will follow.”

While this premise may be true, there are a few people that come to my mind who have discounted their own needs to me when they are quite obviously in great need themselves. While I’m all for looking on the bright side and putting out positivity, I still believe that it is important for people to know that what is going on for them is real and that their needs are just as important as anyone else’s.

Of course, perspective is important but, in the energy of oneness we are all equal, so why is it so hard for people  to ask for help when they are in desperate need?

Pride and embarrassment are probably core reasons, perhaps alongside an inability to admit that they can’t cope or have made mistakes. Ensuring help is given when asked, while respecting a person’s dignity is extremely important, but what does one do when a person who is clearly in dire straits flatly refuses any offer of support?

Well, nothing really, because free will needs to be respected and, as worrying and frustrating as that may be, intervening against a person’s wishes could end up doing way more harm than good.

So, what to do? Love them, hold the space for them and accept their decision. Let them know you are there for them and release all judgement – after all, this is their journey, not yours. You can ask an Archangel to look over them and offer their higher self healing and assistance, but that is about the extent of it.

Sometimes people want so much help that it can be counter productive to their soul growth. It’s natural for humans to want to come to the rescue when someone is in trouble, but people do need to learn their own lessons, which they can’t do if someone is rescuing or making excuses for them or their behaviour. In that circumstance tough love may be necessary! As parents, siblings, sons and daughters or friends, allowing our loved ones to build resilience , independence and problem solving skills are much more productive than teaching them that they can rely on someone else to solve all of their problems. Life just doesn’t work like that!

So, it can be a fine line between assistance and interference in some cases. Trust your instincts and listen – to the person, to your intuition and to your spiritual guidance.

and, the reality is not further developed
and the guardian angels invent a lie about karma, about purification
    and…
    free will desires – received
