I Want Her. Who?
Had had a conversation with a friend. According to him, both his parents didnt have good opinion of his woman, disliked her completely, and 98% of his friends advised him against marrying his choice of woman as well. He came to ask me of my opinion.
I did not give him a yes and no answer, too easy too obvious for an intelligent guy like him. So we had a long talk instead on my balcony. I asked him to list the good characters of hers, and her flaws. Then to match them with her daily out about. Be honest with her, of her, and himself.
I never asked him how the matching went. They are married.
As soon as he made the announcement to his parents about marrying his woman, his mother used her newly bought mobile phone by his beloved son, she called me, crying, asking me if I knew his plan all along? I said yes. Then she asked again, more crying: ' Why didnt you tell me?'... to which I answered: 'Do you prefer me telling you or your son himself ?'
The rest of the story is his, not mine to tell. The whole long conversations with him on my balcony for weeks at end gave me the urge to paint this painting. It is personal, not necessarrily about him and me, or him with his woman, but personal all the same, so I keep it as my personal collections.... for now.
