What is conscious awareness? Many have an understanding of what this means of awareness is, but what do you believe it means? What is your belief and then how does that differ from what others believe? Do you see the various interpretations may not be the same? And does it matter whether or not one espouses something other than what is sought and believed? Let’s see.
It Must Be Sought
Conscious awareness is that which must be sought. It cannot be entered into as the mind often believes. It is not a laissez-faire sort of understanding, as it is maintaining and operating from a posture that is not routinely held. It is that it is a bit more difficult to maintain in that there must be a degree of awareness to keep it affixed and in play. You see, you cannot lamely ask for it to be as it will not be in that way.
And so, you must look to not only be that conscious awareness, but you must also regularly seek to maintain it. It is that so much occurs within the day, and if you do not steadfastly anchor it throughout the day, you may find that you have stepped outside of it and it has slipped through your fingers and no longer engaged. It is not only then something to be pronounced, but to be continually re-engaged with so that it is maintained.
Conscious Awareness — In or Out
Yet, how do you know when you have stepped beyond what it seeks to elicit? How do you know that you are no longer that which you seek to be? It is that you are no longer looking at life in a conscious way. Now you have stepped out of that and are engaging in a lesser way. It is that you are no longer looking with discernment and distinction. You are looking in a distracted way. You are looking in a way that will not garner all you seek within the day. You are looking in a way that is not preferred.
And what about mind games? We’ve talked about them before. Do you see that often the mind will shift and move you out of and into another mode of awareness? It is that you must maintain the conscious awareness now discussed so that you know what is what within your day. It is that you maintain a focused awareness in the day. It is that you reinvoke and reinstate what is most necessary to do when you are gaining awareness here.
Go this day and know that you may have understood this or that, but it is when you are able to recognize that the mind will never allow you to know all that you might, could, or dare we say should know, for you would become that which does not rely on the mind as you now do. See through the many veils of uncertainty that the mind creates to keep you more steadfastly engaged there. Step outside of what it relegates when you are ready to move in a different way. It is when you are ready to move in an unbridled way, in a conscious way, that more will be.
