Full Moon in Libra, 10/11th April.

149132478078320This Full Moon is a rare cosmic gift, that will benefit everyone no matter what our circumstances may be. It seems the heavens are opening up to spread love, light and hope, even in the midst of adversity. The Full Moon in Libra conjoins Jupiter for the first and last time this year. Jupiter is the Planet that expands everything he touches and brings joy, optimism and often good fortune.

This Full Moon is a special one-time event this year, as Jupiter the largest planet in our solar system is currently at his closest to Earth and will shine at his brightest, as the Sun in Aries in opposition, illuminates both the full moon and Jupiter. And as if this wasn’t enough, both the Full Moon and Jupiter are conjoined to the most luckiest and fortunate fixed star of them all, named “Spicia”

Both the Moon and Jupiter are in the sign of Venus-ruled Libra, that rules love, fairness, justice and peace. Jupiter adds extra exuberance and it’s a wonderful time to socialize and get together with good friends. For singles, there is a potential for finding a new love that can be exciting and sudden, even love at first sight, as the electric planet of surprises, Uranus, is conjoined to the Sun and opposite the Full Moon. For couples, this is a unique time to celebrate and reignite your love.

At this Full Moon, we can all fall in love, with life, ourselves and with the simple things all around us that give us joy. From the unexpected act of kindness from a stranger to suddenly seeing everything through a more positive light. We may have seen so much despair in the daily news recently that we have forgotten just how much love, compassion and miracles are really to be found all around.

“There are only two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle”
– Albert Einstein –

Venus also rules finance, creativity, art and beauty. Opportunities to improve these areas of our life can suddenly present themselves and for some, mark a time of exceptional good fortune.

There is definitely a touch of magic to this Full Moon, and our powers of attraction are especially heightened and its a potent time now to set our intentions. Just don’t be surprised if they instantly materialize!

“Whatever you create in your life you must first create in your imagination”
– Tycho Photiou

Whatever your present circumstances maybe, we can all download more love, light and hope into our lives. Especially heartening for many that have seen the ending of a relationship during the Venus retrograde phase. Venus now in Pisces, asks us to trust the process that it is ultimately for our higher good and to let go and heal. Venus, in a tense aspect to Saturn, is asking us to accept the reality as it is, releasing our delusions.

The Full Moon together with Jupiter is lighting up the path ahead, with a real promise of better things to come. The Sun in Aries gives us self-confidence and Mars and Pluto in positive aspect, give us resolve and an unwavering determination to move forward and let go of the past. Whatever our current situation, this full moon gives us the gift of optimism and hope.

“Hope sees the invisible, feels the intangible, achieves the impossible”

At the same time, there are underlying tense energies at this Full Moon, due to tense aspects between Jupiter, Pluto and Uranus. Which we can use as a catalyst to initiate change and expansion in our lives. Some, however, will step over the mark in their bid for power and entitlement, due to Jupiter’s expansion of the ego (Sun) and Pluto’s desire for power.

Its best to keep your cool and sense of fair play, as ultimately the pressure will let up and the wind will be taken out of their sails, as egos deflate, when the Sun in Aries moves away from Jupiter into Taurus on the 19th April. When the Sun changes signs from the warrior sign of Aries to Venus-ruled Taurus, peace and harmony will replace anger and aggression.

“All we are saying is give peace a chance”- John Lennon

It will be time to lighten up and really take flight when Mars changes signs from the earth sign of Taurus into the air sign of Gemini, on the 21st April.

“Accept yourself, love yourself, and keep moving forward. If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down.”
