“Let There Be Light,” And There Was Still Nothing

In the beginning there was nothing and God said “Let there be light,” and there was still nothing but everybody thought for sure that they could see and feel something.


The Gift

What did one Buddhist Master give to the child for his birthday?
Nothing wrapped in Emptiness.
How did the birthday child respond?
You are thoughtless for giving me this meaningless gift.
To which the Buddhist Master replied, “Thank you.”


New Patient

When the new patient was settled comfortably on the couch, the psychiatrist began his therapy session.
“As your a new patient with me, I do apologize, but I haven’t had time to review your case file and I’m not really aware of your problem.” The psychiatrist said, “So perhaps, you should start at the very beginning.”
“But of course.” Replied the patient, “In the beginning, I created the Heavens and the Earth …”
